What can i do to help myself more?

Hi there,

Im just posting a thread because i feel like i need to be doing more to help myself.
I eat healthy (i avoid sweetners, fluoride, bad fats, pre-made meals, rubber pizzas etc etc. I also try and eat as much fresh food as possible).
I do exercise daily, and i make sure i get out to appreciate nature as much as possible.

Is prayer worthwhile? I watched one of laura's videos yesterday on the ouija board, and she said that the person must be fully prepared including prayer.
Is there anything that someone can do to work up to using a ouija board? Should i see a trained medium? Or (again) prayer?

I feel more in touch with my higher self than ever, thanks to deprogramming myself and working through trauma i suffered earlier in my life - which left me in survival mode and dissociated for the first 30 years of my life, but still i feel like i need to explore deeper. How do i do this?

What else would you recommend i could add to my daily routine to help myself? (not talking about 'normal' life stuff here, like watching football and drinking beer, lol).

Im not really sure what im trying to find, but i feel like ive started a journey and theres no turning back.

Sorry if my post is a bit vague, i just feel stuck in this process of awareness.

Thanks for reading, melatonin.

There's a lot of dietary info on the forum here. Even if you eat healthy, it's possible you're still eating things that aren't good for your, individual, body. Check out the threads on the Ultra Simple Diet, for example. Also, do you eat wheat, dairy, soy, or corn?

Yep, check out the threads on Eiriu Eolas and the Prayer of the Soul. Prayer is a very important practice, when done with the right "seed". It speaks to a part of ourselves that is neglected.

Best to check out this thread: http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=8860.0

Read, interact, and Work. The Rabbit Hole goes deep!

Hi melatonin,

I think that's great you watched the Knowledge and Being videos! I know it probably feels like there is a lot to take in on this forum and getting stuck and wondering what to do next is common, even for me at times.

I just want to point out these two threads, in case you missed them:

The first is the standard introduction thread to help newbies get started. The second is the guide for the serious reader.

I would suggest looking over the information on the EE breathing program and make it a point to explore a new 'important thread' in the Diet and Health section every day (if you have the time). You could also look through the QFS recommended books thread and seeing about getting copies of some of these. You mentioned working through trauma, so I would start with the 'Big Five' Narcissism books for sure! Then maybe move onto the health books and 4th Way books, especially Ouspensky's In Search of the Miraculous, since much of this forum is based around the idea of the Work explicated in that book. Of course, if you haven't read the Wave Series, I would definitely start with that above all else.

I hope this helps! :)

Thankyou Approaching Infinity and RyanX for spending the time to reply.
