What causes the following comment when posting: Error posting Comment!

Several times I have tried to reply to a post to be met with Error posting Comment!

I used proper English (nothing questionable).

I am willing to bet it is the web browser you use.

For instance, I will access this forum with two different computers. The one operates with firefox and all the latest updates, etc. The other, operates with Windows IE and it is from this second computer that I have also seen such an error message. Usually if I hit refresh the message will post anyways.
