What do people think about this new AmpCoil device?

I keep seeing ads on FaceBook for this new device called AmpCoil and it sounds intriguing but I'm wondering if anyone has an thoughts about the validity of its technology and claimed benefits. AmpCoil is modern sound technology, which uses PEMF and a voice-guided, biofeedback app, called BetterGuide. This safe PEMF process uses a modified Tesla Coil and an amplifier, acting similarly to a high-powered tuning fork for your body.

The personalized frequencies claim is totally ridiculous, you can't get that information from listening to someone's voice. At least not unless you've been talking with aliens. "Extensive mathematical algorithms" would have to be either an inflated claim or a massive computational Rube Goldberg machine.

To claim multiple frequencies for a resonant Tesla coil is a direct contradiction, resonance only occurs at one frequency set by the physical parameters of the circuit and the cost of a system with the required frequency resolution would be cost prohibitive and physically massive. So this is a bit misleading. The tesla coil resonates at the carrier frequency for PEMF, not at the therapeutic frequencies.

This safe PEMF process uses a modified Tesla Coil and an amplifier, acting similarly to a high-powered tuning fork for your body.

Oh boy, what could be better for your body than a high-powered tuning fork!

This is okay, if the frequencies used are the ones that actually work and not from someone's imagination. Manual input of frequencies will be needed to make any corrections.

Based on the videos and claims this is not true biofeedback, and is probably totally futile.

... Basically what any other device would do. One question remains about whether the whole coil is in the yellow donut or if the coil is in the box and the donut is just an applicator connected to one side of the coil. These would have different exposure patterns for the body.

PEMF means essentially that the transmitter has a carrier frequency and it just turns it on and off at a fixed rate according to the frequencies it is playing. This is pretty much normal.

In other words, you can plug speakers into it and play music. Just in case you get bored of the other features I guess.

The yellow donut the videos show them cradling oh so peacefully has the appearance of commercially available Rogowski coils. They could mock up something themselves but I wouldn't be surprised if they are using off-the-shelf bottom dollar Rogowski coils.

Thanks guys. I suspected it was "hokum"--too good to be true, but because of my limited tech knowledge, I had to ask to be sure I wasn't missing out on something truly helpful like IR light therapy. :)

I remember the talk around the coffee table back in the 50's, about Dr Royal Rife. How he was ridiculed. His ideas were not wrong then and are still valid today.

Maybe it is a load, this particular device. There is a genuine need for development of a machine that works properly.

As far as I know the properly working machine was developed decades ago, the difficulty is finding the schematics or finding one to replicate. I know that someone has one, but I don't think there is a schematic anywhere.
