Why Was My Thread Deleted?

The Force is Strong With This One
On or about June 25, I started a thread in the 9/11 forum, general discussion subforum on the SOTT message board.

This thread was about some connections between Todd Beamer and Mark Bingham of United Airlines Flight 93.

My post was later deleted. I thought there was some technical glitch, and I reposted my post. The post was deleted again.

There was no explanation given as to why my post was deleted.

I have posted many 9/11-related things into that subforum, and this was the first thing that was deleted.

So, would someone please give me some reasonable explanation as to what is going on here? Thanks.

Not sure, I'll check on it. Was it a repeat of the prior information you provided concerning Beamer? That's the only reason I can think of at the moment, but we'll find out.

It was deleted because the subject already has a thread here:

If there is new information, please add it to the already existing thread. If you want to start a thread, please use the search function to see if there is already a thread on that subject that you can add to.

Since you (Eagle54) started the other thread, there is no excuse for you not being aware that a thread already existed on the subject.

Thank you for finally letting me know what the problem was.

Yes, I did know that there was a Todd Beamer-Mark Bingham thread already in place.

However, when I have major new information, I start a new thread so that the new information does not get lost among the old information.

Other message boards usually have no problem with this. However, I will remember *this* message board's policy for future reference.

Thank you.

When you have new information, it is best placed in the already existing thread so that there is a complete context of the development of the info.

Thanks.
