Bob Alexander was born, raised, educated in the United States. He built his family and his caerer in the country he loved. But everything turned around after the SC put George W. Bush into the White House, and everything went down hill after that.

He finally took his family and went to Canada. It was not an easy choice...but one he had to make as the US became everything he had been taught to fear and loathe.

I was sad when I heard that he hadn't gone further afield, as he is mostly delaying the inevitable. Canada is already pretty much subsumed into the US, you just can't see it very well from the outside. Look at Harper supporting the US veto on Palestine's recognition at the UN. All of the good parts of the society are under fire using NAFTA, and when oil gets really tight, you'll see the gloves come off. :(
