Actually, the answer is quite simple: I spent 35 years searching for answers which led to the Cs experiment. The results of that experiment were so unusual that it actually kind of drove me nuts. So, I started sharing parts of the transcripts with others to see if they had ever come across anything like it. The feedback was positive and negative. I decided to post some of it on the web to see what more people thought about it. Then, people started writing to me asking questions and I found myself feeling that I needed to answer them as best I could. Then, I got exhausted answering individual emails, so I wrote The Wave. Started getting more emails, people mainly saying "wow, that really resonates, but I'm so alone!" Created a discussion group so people would know they were not alone, just spread out over the planet. The more I did, the more people asked me to do and it just sort of grew organically.
