I'd like to put a shout out for a little known but highly beloved new Argentinian classic thriller featuring half a dozen or so stories about people who absolutely frickin lose it totally when put under severe pressure. It is called Wild Tales (2015 release), and I have a good write up summary of it here.

People who don't wish to see plot spoilers rejoice, I will say very little about what I actually think and feel about this movie until a reasonable amount of time has elapsed whereby anyone who has seen this brilliant film can of course respond, and I look forward greatly to any and all responses! :D

As well as being sardonically beastly in that lush 70's paranoid way that Quentin Tarantino also evokes (whilst remaining strictly contemporary in presentation nevertheless, you understand ;)), the film also is just absolutely enthralling for the sheer balls out nuttery that actually festers in these fevered anxious brains. The actors get to not so much chew up the scenery as become supermassive spiralling vortexes of doom and chaos! Naturally from this generalised summary of the thematic premise, it'll take you to some very strange emotional and psychological mindscapes, that's for frickin sure. :D I am very enthusiastic about this flm, it has guts, balls, intelligence, soul and depth. It'll annoy the hell out of as many people as it'll enthrall. I genuinely look forward to any responses with keen interest. :cool2:
