Writing a story

I was thinking about writing a story but I am stuck on ideas. I want to write a story that touches on peoples emotion. I also want to write a story dealing with truth and sending a message. But I am stuck on what to write about. I know you are all bright and creative and I was wondering if you guys could offer any ideas. Thanks.

I'm no writer, but I've read that one best conveys scenarios/perceptions/characters that you know yourself from experience, to write from ones own feelings. What about writing of your own struggles with learning to love, pathology and being human?

You know what Parallel that is a good idea an idea I first had. I know some of the best movies and books shows strong human emotion. I think I will take this approach thanks.
