May be it's nothing unusual, and I just keep noticing because it's been coming up on news recently, but nonetheless there have been 4 wrong-way crashes in Illinois within 3 weeks on highways. Odd ?

Car crashes into parked fire truck on San Jose's Capital Expressway
SAN JOSE (KRON) - A major road in San Jose was shut down for hours Wednesday morning after a car crashed into a firetruck.
Around 3:30 a.m.a black, 4-door sedan slammed into the back of the parked firetruck on the side of Capital Expressway at McLaughlin Ave.

Officials say the truck was there because crews were responding to a grass fire.
The driver of the sedan was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
KRON4's Will Tran is at the scene.

He says the car was wedged so deeply under the truck, he could hear it tearing as it was being pulled out.
The lanes reopened around 6:20 a.m.

It is unclear what caused the accident.
Further details are not available at this time.

A 32-year-old woman died early Monday after driving the wrong direction on Interstate 680 and crashing into the center divider in Walnut Creek, authorities said.

Officers responded just after 1:30 a.m. to the area of Livorna Road after receiving reports of a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant traveling northbound on the southbound lanes of the interstate, according to the California Highway Patrol.

By the time officers found the driver, she had already crashed into the concrete divider, CHP said.

The woman, an Oakland resident, was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity was not released.

It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, CHP said.
