In the dream I was in the town full of zombies. I am not sure what has happened, but it seemed it was some sort of infection that would turn people into zombies. They would go around and search for non-zombies and turn them into their kind through biting. They could sense where people were at. Town was basically inhibited by zombies with an exception of very few people.
I was along with my friends trying to leave the town. There were a lot of abandoned vehicles on the street, and that’s what I’ve been using to navigate around from one part of town to another. I’ve switched many vehicles in the process. Zombies did not use cars.
Later on my friends wanted to go pick up some personal belongings in the house. I was constantly telling them to hurry up, that we do not have time for this crap, zombies can sense us and we really need to get out. Soon I saw some weird small creature on a bicycle singing a song about him being small evil zombie. Well, I’ve killed him in order to escape, and at this very moment I’ve realized that I have “violated some rule” and I will be “taken care of” for that. My body was evaporated by some invisible force.
My “death” did not bother me much, with an exception that I was worried for my friends and that I can’t assist them. Other then that I actually felt a relief from my “death” and was not upset about it at all.
After evaporation by unseen force, I’ve turned into sort of floating goldish colored see through energy orb. My friends were able to see/hear me in that form for short period of time and asked me to give them protection. Which I did (I do not really understand how, but it seemed protection was given to them by touching them with my “after death orb state”). After that a small doggie appeared next to them, my friends asked me to give protection to this doggie also. But after I’ve telepathically communicated with a doggie, I told them that this doggie does not need it, he naturally has it within him on his own.

If I understand correctly, zombies are the representation of my mechanical programs.
Death seems to be representation of transformation of some sort, but in dream it seemed like it was a “punishment” for killing the zombie, though I did not perceive as punishment from my side, but rather a relief. Death seemed to be an attempt of “retaliation” by some force, which I knew would not harm me other then taking me out of the scene of events. So I am little bit lost about it…
Also what does changing of the vehicles represent ?
Can someone help me with interpretation ?
