I'm starting to think that what we're seeing in all these shootings is domestic counter-terrorism, in the real meaning of that term: terrorism carried out by the state, and not just byproducts of a sick society (although, at root, the two are not mutually exclusive).

In short, the U.S. government is organising and carrying out these attacks with very specialised military-trained units. Perhaps they are not directly responsible for all of these attacks, but the Fort Hood shooting blamed on Hasan, the Aurora theater shooting blamed on Holmes, the Sikh Temple shooting blamed on Page and now this one blamed on Lanza all had evidence for at least two and up to four shooters at the scene.

Most of the rest of the world is familiar with these covert paramilitary units. Known as 'death squads', the U.S. government is largely responsible for setting them up, training them and funding them. And now the chickens have come home to roost.

Worshippers hurry from Conn. church, citing threat

Associated Press= NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) — Worshippers hurriedly left a church Sunday in Connecticut, saying they were told there was a bomb threat not far from the elementary school where 20 kids and six adults were massacred.

Halfway through the noon mass, the priest stopped and said, "Please, everybody leave. There is a threat," said Anna Wood of Oxford, Conn., one of the worshippers who left.

It's not clear whether there actually was a threat or if, like many tragedies, whether it was a hoax or the result of a community on edge.

At least a dozen police in camouflage SWAT gear and carrying guns arrived at the St. Rose of Lima Church. An Associated Press photographer saw police leave carrying something in a red tarp.

Guns drawn, they searched the church and adjacent buildings. After about an hour, police still kept onlookers back but were no longer carrying drawn guns and appeared much more relaxed than the tense period after their arrival.

There was no official report from police about the threat or evacuation.

Gunman Adam Lanza, his mother and eight of the child victims attended St. Rose of Lima. It is a Roman Catholic Church with an adjacent school, which Lanza attended briefly.

The church hosted overflow crowds at all three morning Masses Sunday.

Wood said everyone left calmly but described a congregation edge. One boy, about 9, left with his mother.

"He asked his mom, 'Mom, why are we leaving?," Wood recalled. "The mom couldn't answer. She just started crying."

I can't really think any more in terms of having an entity that can be identified as "the U.S. Government." The point where that particular illusion completely exploded for me was after I read The Secret Team and then connected things described there with my life growing up. I know that what my father told me during certain years about what he did for a living was a lie, because he told me the truth (or something closer to it) 25 years later when he was about to die. Either way, he was working for the "government," but which government?

In a similar way, our "elected government" would seem to be a facade that serves mainly as a distraction from the real thing. And while The Secret Team describes one aspect of how that has been managed over the last 60 years (my lifetime), I think those changes have more to do with maintaining the illusion in the era of television and now Internet, as well as modern technology (for killing), rather than being a fundamentally new development. The underlying economic entities would seem to go back for centuries if not much further, and don't seem to know any national boundaries.

So while it is not strictly untrue, I find it confusing to credit the U.S. government with these kinds of operations, at least the visible part of the government, the part with which people generally identify. I don't even know what to call it now -- the sham government?

Why not call it what it is? A collection of individual terrorcrats? From my perspective, the fact that average people, IRL, credit a semantic-induced illusion called "government" is an important reason why 'paths continue to enjoy free rein. This is part of the terror of the situation as far as I understand it.

After spending 35 years in the Aerospace industry I came to the conclusion that all of the huge firms are nothing but a big front. A front that is meant to capture attention and hide the black depth that is government-less. It (the front) legitimizes war and the associated technologies with images of advancement and "marvel" but produces little of value to people/culture. Layers and layers like an onion, and at the core - black evil. I'm not sure I'm describing this in a meaningful way, but when I fully realized this years ago, hair stood up and my skin crawled.

Clackamas man, armed, confronts mall shooter

PORTLAND -- Nick Meli is emotionally drained. The 22-year-old was at Clackamas Town Center with a friend and her baby when a masked man opened fire.

"I heard three shots and turned and looked at Casey and said, 'are you serious?,'" he said.

The friend and baby hit the floor. Meli, who has a concealed carry permit, positioned himself behind a pillar.

"He was working on his rifle," said Meli. "He kept pulling the charging handle and hitting the side."

The break in gunfire allowed Meli to pull out his own gun, but he never took his eyes off the shooter.

"As I was going down to pull, I saw someone in the back of the Charlotte move, and I knew if I fired and missed, I could hit them," he said.

Meli took cover inside a nearby store. He never pulled the trigger. He stands by that decision.

"I'm not beating myself up cause I didn't shoot him," said Meli. "I know after he saw me, I think the last shot he fired was the one he used on himself."

The gunman was dead, but not before taking two innocent lives with him and taking the innocence of everyone else.

"I don't ever want to see anyone that way ever," said Meli. "It just bothers me."

Something that keeps popping up for me on FB and elsewhere is a rumor being spread by different disinfo sites including Alex Jones and GLP that Peter Lanza and Jame's Holmes's father, Robert Holmes were supposed to testify at LIBOR scandal trial.

Was thinking in limited ways, at least with some similar methods also, this (these of recent note) have shades to that of the European post WWII cells of the Gladio 'Stay-Behinds' made up of ultra right wing fascists or just plain old psychopathic minds who ran those terror shows for shadowy people. These are different times, yet same strategies and results; to infuse fear, except these ones of recent history involve generally a single loan gunman (or the perception of) who has either been killed or is like a blank slate to his actions.

Europeans had suffered these things for a long time and if these type of murders have come home, to as you say "roost", with these horrific events becoming more frequent, well, don't want to even contemplate how bad it could get. Whatever the case, if so, people will not understand what evil lurks behind these malicious things and will take it out on each other.

In all the lone gun man murders starting from JFK assassination to current day massacres, what we hear is patsy gun man story. Interestingly how the person is placed there seems to lot of techniques, not one. C's calls it strong 'Nuts and Bolts' mechanism. - hypnotism, misleading the person to the specific location, framing the person even if the person doesn't exist so on, - typical mossad techniques- use it and eliminate it. In all cases, person has some association to these abusers - military, fundies, ABC organizations, corporations, sextual orientation, on pay roll of some sort etc , so that they can control the MSM narration or shut up/eliminate the patsy. With privation of security and revolving door policies of high official, this got expanded to literally every where.

These MSM explanations are dumb and stupid , but people doesn't question it or use their brain to validate the narration, instead emotionally react. That is where PTB are having very easy time that all goes back to food, mind numbing media ( now add social media) . In this episode we are not yet clear , why they chose this guy and what are his associations.

The same thing crossed my mind yesterday, actually - since I thought Sandy was kind of an odd name for a hurricane anyway, at the time. I'm not sure if there is a symbolic connection or it's just an odd coincidence, though.

Ran into this - “Sandy Hook” in Batman: Dark Knight Rises - and shades of 9/11 references in movies etc. Yet maybe people are getting better at spotting and looking for such things, but just seems really quick for it to come out. Not sure where this finding originated, but where I first ran into it was a link to ATS on another website
