Mass Extinctions, Evolutionary Leaps, and the Virus-Information Connection

Chapter 25: Electromagnetic Pulses (EMP)

The two facts developed above: 1/ viruses carried by comets and 2/ viruses in the upper atmosphere being carried to Earth in the wake of cometary bodies don’t totally clarify the origin of viruses: how did viruses ended up in comets or how high concentration of viruses are found in the upper atmosphere? Ultimately where do viruses come from?

A few scientists attempted to elucidate this point by proposing an extra-terrestrial origin for viruses. The hypothesis they developed is called panspermia, positing that life in the form of virus came from other planet:

What we currently know of viruses is that we are most likely to encounter them on other life-bearing planets; that while some are exquisitely host-specific, many viruses can utilize hundreds of different host species; that viruses are known to exist in our planet's most extreme environments; and that while many do not survive long outside their hosts, some can survive for extended periods, especially in the cold. In our quest for extraterrestrial life, we should be looking for viruses; and while any encountered may pose no risk, the possibility of an encounter with a virus capable of accessing multiple cell types exists, and any prospective contact with such an organism should be treated accordingly.[1]

A sub-category of “panspermia”[2] is coined “lithopanspermia”, the theory according to which life came to Earth specifically via meteorites-bound microorganisms:

Also, if shielded against solar UV, spores of Bacillus subtilis were capable of surviving in space for up to 6 years, especially if embedded in clay or meteorite powder (artificial meteorites). The data support the likelihood of interplanetary transfer of microorganisms within meteorites, the so-called lithopanspermia hypothesis.[3]

The above quote takes the example of a bacteria but it also apply to virus. According to Wickramasinghe, viruses come from old planets and were subsequently transported to Earth by cometary bodies seeding life on Earth:

virus particles have been found in association with clusters of an extensive array of microfossils similar to methanogens and archae in the Murchison meteorite; a meteorite so old it predates the origin of this solar system and may have originated on a planet that orbited the parent star which gave birth to our own.[4]

If Wickramasinghe or Dale Griffin hypothesis about the origin of viruses is older planets, it only shift the question about the origin of viruses one step further, from Earth to older planets. The fundamental question remains: how did viruses appear on old planets in the first place?

Now, a second problem posed by the lithopanspermia hypothesis is that, according to estimates, Earth receives each day between 5[5] and 300[6] tons of cosmic dust, of which a significant proportion is cometary dust[7].

If comets via their dust were the carriers of various viruses, evolution should not proceed by leaps synchronous with cometary impact but rather be linear, following the daily deposit of cometary dust and their accompanying virus.

So what differentiates daily drop of cometary dust – inducing no evolutionary leap – from cometary impacts - inducing evolutionary leap?

One of the major differences is ElectroMagnetic Pulses (EMP). When a cometary body approaches the Earth, usually it partly or integrally disintegrates this disintegration is the source of EMPs.

The hypothesis exposed below could also explain the apparition of new viruses concomitant with cometary encounters and the ultimate origin of viruses without referring to an infinite regression.

Does the EMP generated by comet enable the creation of viruses? This question might seem outlandish at first. Please hold your judgement until you read this following sub-chapter.

Strange phenomena around EMP

EMP stands for ElectroMagnetic Pulse. It is encountered in cometary events, nuclear explosions and other man-made experiments involving high electrical current.

Kurchatov experiment:

One of these experiments was conducted by a team of Russian scientists[8] located at the Kurchatov Institute. These scientists discovered various new elements after violent electric discharges. Mass-spectra analysis of the samples obtained in more than 200 experiments revealed that “alien” elements which were absent in the original material.

The spectral analysis revealed that the most abundant “alien” elements were as follow:

One peculiarity shown by this series of experiments was that the micro explosions induced by the EMP strongly resembles the shape of a comet, in the very words of the scientists:

[…] the track strongly changes and the trace becomes "comet"-like in shape.[10]

Tornadoes:

The experiment above is not an isolated case. Nature provides also examples of strange events triggered by EMPs. One case in point is tornadoes. Oftentimes intense lightning bolts have been witnessed within and/or around tornadoes. For reference, one single lightning bolt generate on average 300 million Volts and 30,000 Amperes[11].

A tornado surrounded by lightning bolts

By themselves tornadoes are highly electrical phenomena whether they are accompanied by lightning bolts or not. Electric fields reaching more than 20 kV /m[12] have measured at the base of one tornado. Coincidently or not in the aftermath of tornadoes, phenomena defying physics have been witnessed:

A small pebble punctures a glass like a bullet without forming fractures. One board penetrates the other without shattering it. A timber house wall is found punctured by an old charred plank, with its porous tip staying undamaged. A clover leaf was found pressed into a hard stucco wall. A 1.5 inches gate frame was found punctured by a piece of wood.[13]

Hutchinson effect:

The Hutchinson Effect was discovered accidentally by John Hutchinson during attempts to study Tesla’s longitudinal waves of back in 1979. The Hutchinson Effect occurs as the result of radio wave interferences in a volume radiated by two or more high voltage sources.

This is possibly the most puzzling phenomenon in physics. The Hutchison effect induces physical objects of different composition to become inexplicably embedded in each other once these objects when blasted with electromagnetic waves[14].

The fusion of dissimilar materials, which is exceedingly remarkable, indicates clearly that the Hutchinson Effect has a powerful influence on intermolecular forces. Dissimilar substances such as steel and copper or wood can simply “come together,” yet the individual substances do not dissociate. A block of wood can simply “sink into” a metal bar, yet neither the metal bar nor the block of wood come apart or carbonise.[15]

Schwindler effect
:

This effect refers to the spontaneous creation of an electron–positron pairs when exposed to a very strong electric field corresponding to roughly 10^18 V/m. Although theorized as early as the 1930’s[16] it has never been observed during a lab experiment due to the extremely voltage required, however in January 2022 researchers at the National Graphene Institute reported the observation of an analog process[17].

Coral Castle:

Coral Castle covers 4 hectares[18] encompassing several buildings and monuments. The “Polaris telescope", carved out of a single solid piece of coral is estimated to weigh 25 tons[19]:

Even better, the "moon fountain" is the heaviest piece in the park, weighting an astounding 30 tons[20] [21]. For comparison it has been estimated that the Great Pyramid of Egypt at Giza was build with blocks averaging 2,5 tons[22] [23].

The "moon fountain" is a complex sundial carved out of a single piece of rock, calibrated to noon of the summer and winter solstices, and claimed to be accurate to within two minutes.

How could Edward Leedskalnin 150 centimeters[24] tall and weighing 43 kilograms[25] move up and shape block of coral weighing up to thirty tons?

Furthermore, no heavy machinery was found in his workshop. Leedskalnin didn't even own a car, he had solely a bicycle[26]. However, plenty of electrical equipment found in his workshop amongst which copper wires, magnets, and welding rods[27].

Eyewitnesses claimed that Leedskalnin spent all his free time in the local library, where he studied books on the construction of the Great Egyptian pyramids[28]:

Even during his lifetime, Edward Leedskalnin claimed to have solved the mystery of the Egyptian pyramids. He managed to master the laws of anti-gravity, which is confirmed by eyewitnesses who watched huge blocks floating freely in the air.[29]
Whether these allegations are true or false, one thing is certain; Leedskalnin had an uncanny interest for electricity. He wrote three books dedicated to magnetic current[30] .

But Leedskalnin interest was not only for electromagnetism theory; he applied also his theoretical knowledge as exemplified by the following picture:

Impossible crystal during nuclear explosion:

The first nuclear explosion occurred in 1945, also known as Trinity test, it created unknown quasicrystals considered as ‘impossible’ to scientists[31]:

Quasicrystals contain building blocks made up of arrangements of atoms that — unlike those in ordinary crystals — do not repeat in a regular, brickwork-like pattern. Whereas ordinary crystal structures look identical after being translated (shifted along certain directions), quasicrystals have symmetries that were once considered impossible: for example, some have pentagonal symmetry, and so look the same if rotated by one-fifth of a full twist.[32]

The new mineral red trinitite with its impossible quasicrystal

In the previous paragraphs we have described quite a number of the experiments and observations, namely: the Kurchatov experiment, tornadoes, the Hutchinson effect, the Swindler effect, Coral Castle, or red trinitite.

Each of them has one causal factor in common: intense electromagnetic field a.k.a electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) and they also have similar effects: creation/transmutation/translocation of matter.

The last example – an unknown element, trinitite, with an “impossible” geometry created by an atomic explosion - is particularly interesting because nuclear detonations and cometary events are quite similar as far as electromagnetism is concerned.

Nuclear explosions and comets have similar EM signature

Actually nuclear detonations are so similar to meteorites explosions that he took a full investigation by NATO and the US army to determine what was thought at first as the nuclear explosion and was in fact a meteoritic event.

This case is known as the Vela incident when an unidentified double flash of light was detected by an American Vela Hotel satellite on 22 September 1979 over the Indian Ocean.

Light patterns detected by the Vela satellite 6911

At first, the US army believed or at least made believe through an official report published only a few weeks after the incident that the cause was a secret nuclear test carried out by Israel and South Africa[33].

It took months of investigations to establish that there was no radioactive debris, and no seismic or hydro-acoustic data[34] corroborating the nuclear explosion hypothesis; the Vela satellite recorded the signature of a meteoroid event.

Here are excerpts of the “ad hoc panel[35]” report on the September 22 event (Vela event) published eight months after on the May 23, 1980:

[…] on our experience in related scientific assessments, it is our collective judgment that the September 22 signal was probably not from a nuclear explosion.[…] At present a meteoroid impact with the VELA satellite appears to·be the best candidate for a nonnuclear origin of the signal.[36]

The Vela incident was not the first cometary event to have produced a strong electromagnetic signature; more than one century ago, the Tunguska event generated a similar effect including a double spike:

During 7 hours before the explosion of the Tunguska space body, the geomagnetic field was very calm. At 0 h 20 min GMT, that is 6 min after this body exploded, the intensity of the geomagnetic field abruptly increased by 4 nT and remained at that level for about 2 min. This was the initial phase of the local geomagnetic storm (called the “first entry”). Then began a second phase – “the rise phase.” In the course of 18 min it rose 20 nT more. The geomagnetic field reached its maximum intensity at 0 h 40 min GMT, and remained at the same level for the next 14 min. It then began to drop, the amplitude decreasing by some 70 nT. It returned to its initial undisturbed level only 5 hours later.[37]

In fact, like nuclear explosions, cometary fragments are known to generate so much EMP that they are considered a hazard for spacecraft with several electrical failures directly attributed to the electromagnetic perturbations generated by meteoroids:

Several reported spacecraft anomalies are suggestive of an electrical failure associated with meteoroid impact. We present a theory to explain plasma production and subsequent electric fields occurring when a meteoroid strikes a spacecraft, ionizing itself and part of the spacecraft. This plasma, with a charge separation commensurate with different specie mobilities, can produce a strong electromagnetic pulse (EMP) at broad frequency spectra, potentially causing catastrophic damage if the impact is relatively near an area with low shielding or an open umbilical. Anomalies such as gyrostability loss can be caused by an EMP without any detectable momentum transfer due to small (<1 μg) particle mass. Subsequent plasma oscillations can also emit significant power and may be responsible for many reported satellite anomalies.[38]

Not only nuclear explosion and meteorite impact have virtually the same electromagnetic signature but like project Manhattan and its red trinitite, new minerals - never before seen on Earth - have also been discovered in meteorites[39]:

The mainstream media’s response to the increase in earthbound space rocks has been similar to its response to the other cosmically-induced Earth changes; they downplay the magnitude of the phenomenon and blame it on human activity i.e. nuclear explosions.

Sadly for the authorities, the proliferation of mobile phones equipped with cameras has provided extensive evidence that some fairly large-sized meteors are raining down on Earth, with fresh accounts of spectacular fireballs now being reported on a daily basis.

With outright denial of the phenomenon no longer possible for them, it has become imperative that the media find rational explanations to ease the inevitable apprehension people feel about what they are seeing.

So the authorities now regularly claim to be conducting bizarre, and previously unannounced, ‘missile tests’[40] and dealing with equally outlandish ‘accidents’[41] to account for ‘sonic booms’[42] and ‘explosive earthquakes’[43] that are often accompanied by eyewitness reports and video footage of fireballs[44] turning night into day over densely populated areas.

This media cover-up of the increase in cometary activity by conflating it with military missiles and/or space junk lends an almost prophetic tone to the following text written in 1996:

[...] the Christian, Islamic and Judaic cultures have all moved since the European Renaissance to adopt an unreasoning anti-apocalyptic stance, apparently unaware of the burgeoning science of catastrophes. History, it now seems, is repeating itself: it has taken the Space Age to revive the Platonist voice of reason but it emerges this time within a modern anti-fundamentalist, anti-apocalyptic tradition over which governments may, as before, be unable to exercise control. ¼ Cynics (or modern sophists), in other words, would say that we do not need the celestial threat to disguise Cold War intentions; rather we need the Cold War to disguise celestial intentions! [45]

The problem is that, unlike conventional missiles, cometary bodies, because of their electric activity, have a strong electromagnetic signature that can fry electrical devices over a wide area.

One naturally wonders if this is related to the media frequently reporting, since around 2008[46], the development of electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapons by the USA,[47] Israel,[48] China,[49] South Korea[50], the usual suspect, Iran[51] and of course the devil incarnate, Russia[52] and all the hype about WW3 and the use by Russia of nuclear weapons.

The EMP generated by an incoming asteroid could, of course, be blamed on the Russian EMP/nuclear bombs. In addition to ‘disguising celestial intentions’, a cover story about Russian EMP/nuclear weapons would provide a perfect casus belli for the US to attack Russia.

Why all this fuss about half a dozen countries suddenly developing EMP bombs at the same time that such a dramatic increase in comets and fireballs is being recorded? Why then do the media depict EMP bombs as a ‘newly discovered’ weapon?

Put simply, nuclear weapons are EMP weapons. This fact has been known for almost 70 years. This effect was already suspected by the time the Manhattan Project’s Trinity Test in the desert of New Mexico on July 16th, 1945 detonated the first atomic bomb. The electronic equipment had been shielded[53] because project scientist Enrico Fermi had predicted that an EMP would accompany the explosion. By the 1960s, the EMPs generated by nuclear explosions and their disruptive effects on electronic and electric equipment was being extensively measured and documented.[54]

US experimentations are not isolated cases. Likewise Russia has been conducting nuclear/EMP blast tests for at least 60 years:

Nuclear Test 184 confirmed definitively for the Soviets in 1962 what the United States concluded independently by extrapolation from the U.S. STARFISH PRIME and other nuclear test results (conducted over the Pacific Ocean), and from experiments conducted over 50 years using EMP simulators and by computer modeling[55]

Theoretical electric field induced by a high-altitude EMP. Burst height is 75 km.

The “smile” shape in the picture above in due to the Earth’s magnetic field being more intense at the low latitudes.

In summary, we have seen how cometary impacts like nuclear explosions and other EMP-generating events can cause the creation/transmutation/translocation of matter. But all the examples described above concern “dead” matter. What about organic matter like viruses?

Quantum teleportation[56] was first theorized in 1993[57] and proven experimentally in 1997[58]. The first experiments involved only photons over short distance.

Since then the quantum teleportation distances have increased dramatically reaching 1,400 km[59] using a satellite for space-based[60] quantum teleportation.

Likewise the quantum objects have been growing bigger and bigger. The following quote report a successful experiment of entangling two ytterbium ions. The ytterbium is composed of 104 neutrons and 70 protons/electrons. Notice that this experiment was enabled by the use electromagnetic fields:

The JQI team set out to entangle the quantum states of two individual ytterbium ions so that information embodied in the condition of one could be teleported to the other. Each ion was isolated in a separate high-vacuum trap, suspended in an invisible cage of electromagnetic fields and surrounded by metal electrodes[61]

The molecule of ytterbium is comparable in size to some viruses[62]. Even more impressive in 2010 researchers manage to create a quantum mechanical resonator, which was 3 angstrom long and 74 angstrom thick, so the mechanical resonator is about 30 times larger than the bursal disease virus.

No wonder that those discovery led researchers to posit that the quantum teleportation of viruses should happen very soon, so much that an experiment protocol is already available:

The most striking feature of quantum mechanics is the existence of superposition states, where an object appears to be in different situations at the same time. The existence of such states has been tested with small objects, like atoms, ions, electrons and photons, and even with molecules. More recently, it has been possible to create superpositions of collections of photons, atoms, or Cooper pairs. Current progress in optomechanical systems may soon allow us to create superpositions of even larger objects, like micro-sized mirrors or cantilevers, and thus to test quantum mechanical phenomena at larger scales. Here we propose a method to cool down and create quantum superpositions of the motion of sub-wavelength, arbitrarily shaped dielectric objects trapped inside a high--finesse cavity at a very low pressure. Our method is ideally suited for the smallest living organisms, such as viruses, which survive under low vacuum pressures, and optically behave as dielectric objects. This opens up the possibility of testing the quantum nature of living organisms by creating quantum superposition states.[63]

So does it still seem so far-fetched that cometary events with their documented EMPs might create organic matter like viruses?

Absolutely fascinating Pierre.
In a nutshell, chapter 25 suggests that cometary bodies via the EMPs they generate enable the materialization of viruses.

It's an highly speculative idea, even though it is not impossible as shown by similar phenomena: the Kurchatov experiment, tornadoes, the Hutchinson effect, the Swindler effect, Coral Castle, red trinitite and, off course, the quantum teleportation demonstrated for objects far larger than viruses.

In a nutshell, chapter 25 suggests that cometary bodies via the EMPs they generate enable the materialization of viruses.

It makes sense, added to a lot of what is known here on the forum. However, I think something needs to be added about viruses: How can an EMP encode complex instructions? That is, what a virus does, how it does it and why. Could it be that an EMP is both a means and a technique to interact with the information field and encode data?

Quantum teleportation could offer an answer, if we use the teleporter from Star Trek as an analogy, in the series to transport matter, whether organic or inorganic, the information on the state of each atom is stored in a buffer as if it were a photo. The information of each atom at its maximum resolution is captured instantly, as if frozen in time. That information is compressed, goes to the buffer and is then emitted to the destination point where it is rematerialized. Could it also be that in events where an EMP appears it is a natural form of TDRAM?

First thoughts on this...

What is an EMP? A pulse of energy. Rather large amount of energy, right? Could it be possible to generalize in a way that anything present is made out of energy, including information.
What is a virus? An information. But in the end all information translates to energy, still right?

So here comes the SWAG (super wild ass guess) :-)
Perhaps we should be looking at virus distribution to our environment as a favorite (tried and true) way of introducing virii from 4d to 3d?? Something like system patching, speaking IT terms. This virus thing could also be a patching of sorts. Fixing vulnerabilities, closing gaps in the code (information) already available. And sometimes the system patch takes a form of an upgrade or a complete system code replacement. Hmmm.

At the moment, what seems most logical to me is the very intense electromagnetic field, it opens a portal that could allow viruses to arrive from another place (another dimension or density), accidentally or intentionally. Although I believe that there are few accidental things.

There are materials that are not fusionable, in the intense electromagnetic field they can merge in an inexplicable way for our physics, but explainable perhaps for fourth-density physics, for example.

At the moment, my hypothesis is not that the electromagnetic field creates the viruses, but that they come from another "site".

This is excellent, thanks @Pierre. Didn’t think of the EMP being a main factor behind viruses but then again, how else would information transition from 4D to 3D. Probably saves the 4D some effort in generating such powerful forces artificially.

Well, it seems it's a complex topic

Taking these effects into account, I wonder if "someone" took advantage of a cometary event with an associated intense electromagnetic field, to "encode" a virus already present in people.

STS virus from space.

Lots of possibilities, including maybe some STO virus too, that "triggers" some funny thing in some people.
