Brace Yourselves For War Between Iran and Israel

Erdogan backs Iranian response to Israel

“the blood of massacred civilians, murdered babies, and children is splattered not only on the hands and faces of those who support Israel’s arrogance, but also on those who remain silent.”

"The Turkish president strongly criticized Israel’s leadership for its acts of aggression, claiming that Netanyahu has “long surpassed the tyrant Hitler in the crime of genocide.”

"Türkiye is doing “everything we can” to stop what he called “inhumane aggression” not only against Iran, but also Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, Erdogan insisted."

“Stopping Israel’s aggression is essential for the world and humanity,” he said."

Just…wow. When you’re certain that nobody could be as deranged and plain psychopathic as Lindsay Graham, Gen Michael Flynn manages to outdo himself! Thankfully, Berletic brings it back to reality by outlining the policy papers that every president has been meticulously following for decades, which is just so bloody sinister it beggars belief. It’s exactly as Wesley Clark told us.

Trump continues to lie about the reasons for the breakdown in negotiations. He brags about the Israeli attacks and their effectiveness. He increasingly resembles a mob boss in the way he represents his negotiation strategy. He continues his fairly thin strategic ambiguity by saying that he may strike Iran, he may not. It's actually somewhat effective as he gives the impression of a man who doesn't even know what he might do himself. Very obnoxious at this point. Millions of lives depend on what happens next. His messages yesterday about the evacuation of Tehran disgusted me. If that weighs on him in any way he hides it well, though he does seem tired.

Let's wait and see, I guess. It is also possible that Trump surprises us yet again and that all the hard talk is part "of the plan" including maybe soon "a hard but limited and short strike" on top of that. Trumps "deal making" seems to often involve being the first to state outrageous things that very much look over the top and extreme (while in secret, he is not really aiming for that extreme position) in order to get "the best deal possible". A rather common tactic of many dealmakers.

From the Kremlin. Did Putin speak with Trump?

Telephone conversation with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

At the initiative of the Emirati side, Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the UAE Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

There was an exchange of views in relation to the rapid escalation in the Middle East. Both sides expressed deep concern over the ongoing escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel, fraught with most adverse consequences for the entire region. They emphasised it was imperative to cease the hostilities and step up the political and diplomatic efforts aimed at settling the differences related to Iran's nuclear programme.

Vladimir Putin confirmed Russia was willing to provide mediation with a view to promoting the dialogue between the parties to the conflict. In addition, he notified his counterpart of contacts made with several foreign leaders to discuss the issue.

The presidents expressed satisfaction with the high level achieved in Russia-UAE cooperation in political, trade and economic,and humanitarian and cultural matters, and agreed to maintain personal contact.

Just to recap. The whole point of this attack on Iran is to gain total control of the oil and gas resources in the Middle East and thereby strangle China's (and Russia) plan for a multipolar world, unseating the US as hegemon - and by definition Israel as the ME hegemon.

So it's "existential" for both the US and Israel, and by implication the major European powers.

That's the short version.

In line with withdrawing from the JCPOA, which Trump hated and semi-nixed during his first term. A regime change in Iran could bring the flowing of Iranian oil back to Europe and alleviate their dependance on Russia, and also block the Iranian deals with China to where they now send up to 90% of their petroleum exports.

There is also this interesting bit of info regarding the Iran-China $400 billion strategic cooperation which is all about trade and a multipolar world. It was posted on TG channel Slavyangrad. It just goes to show that it is about resources more than anything and the preservation of the empire.

An interesting detail that is almost unnoticed against the backdrop of the strikes on Iran: the first missiles fired at the country's territory flew almost simultaneously with the launch of the new railway route From China to Iran. First train from Xi'an arrived at the Iranian logistics hub Aprin on May 25, 2025. This route has been coordinated and built since 2021, immediately after Iran and China signed a strategic agreement worth about $400 billion as part of the One Belt, One Road initiative. The essence of the project is simple: industrial goods from China now go to Iran directly by land, bypassing all US zones of influence, military bases and sanctions control. Iran receives not just supplies - it gains the role of a key transit hub connecting:

– to the south – the North-South corridor through Russia, the Caspian Sea and India;
– to the west – land access to Iraq, Syria, Turkey and the Mediterranean;
– to the east – direct access to Chinese supply chains.

In addition, the land route erodes the monopoly of maritime traffic, especially in conditions where the Strait of Hormuz and Suez are controlled by either American or pro-American structures. Iran has gradually broken out of logistical isolation, becoming a link between China, Russia, India and the Middle East.

All of this is a geoeconomic threat that the US and its allies understand very well. Therefore, it is not surprising that simultaneously with the beginning of Iran's real integration into trans-Asian logistics, an attempt to destroy it systemically is beginning. The issue is not only about the nuclear program. The issue is to prevent Iran from becoming a logistics hub for the new Eurasian architecture and from gaining sufficient strength.

Funny how something that is framed as an "interesting detail" vaguely associated with a conflict is actually the primary reason for the conflict.

People are clueless.

Also, consider that Iran just took one of its first deliveries of Chinese cars via rail. Belt and Road between China and Iran is up and running via Kazakhstan. So a regime change could potentially throw a wrench in the works that way as well, which would please the Tariff master to no end.

*edit to add @Aeneas , missed your post while typing. You hit the nail on the head!

Iranian government planes have landed in Oman. Talks back on? Surprise me.

No official or any informed source I'm in contact with has even mentioned the possibility of negotiations.

Iran at this stage believes that although Israel's initial strikes were successful and did substantial damage, it has enough strategic depth for a long war of attrition.

The answer? Because of Israel-Usa. It's the end of their empire, so they are hungry of blood, predators from Hell.

This guy also analyses this situation and asks the same type of questions.

"Cynics (or modern sophists), in other words, would say that we do not need the celestial threat to disguise Cold War intentions; rather we need the Cold War to disguise celestial intentions!"Full quote from Narrative Report on the Hazard to Civilization Due to Fireballs and Comets, which he wrote under the sponsorship of the US Air Force and Oxford Department of Physics (1996, just two years after comet Shoemaker-Levy hit Jupiter):"… The Christian, Islamic and Judaic cultures have all moved since the European Renaissance to adopt an unreasoning anti-apocalyptic stance, apparently unaware of the burgeoning science of catastrophes. History, it now seems, is repeating itself: it has taken the Space Age to revive the Platonist voice of reason, but it emerges this time within a modern anti-fundamentalist, anti-apocalyptic tradition over which governments may, as before, be unable to exercise control… Cynics (or modern sophists), in other words, would say that we do not need the celestial threat to disguise Cold War intentions; rather we need the Cold War to disguise celestial intentions!”
