I hink it is safe to say that it is probably one of the biggest if not the biggest wars that have happened since the End of WW2. And Russia hasn’t even labeled it as a war yet. In terms of casualties, death and military equipment used/destroyed I would say that is likely the case. The Dnepr Group's units improved the tactical situation and defeated two mechanised brigades, a mountain assault brigade, two coastal defence brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and four territorial defence brigades close to Kamenskoye, Plavni, Orekhov, Novoandreyevka (Zaporozhye region), Stepovoye (Dnepropetrovsk region), Antonovka, and Sadovoye (Kherson region).
️ More than 80 troops, six motor vehicles, an artillery gun, eight electronic warfare stations, an ammunition depot, and a fuel depot were neutralised.

Air defence units shot down nine guided aerial bombs and four HIMARS MLRS projectiles as well as 226 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.

I think it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that a guy like Putin will try his utmost to finish whatever needs to be finished in Ukraine in a way that leaves little to no room for a bad outcome for Russia, especially in the long run. And that likely includes things like not really getting lulled into more false promises even if Trump himself might be serious in trying to end the conflict. Trump is “the head“ of a huge machinery, which will do many things that run against stated goals that Trump declares.
