Atherosclerosis – Plaque Regression

What do you think we are overlooking?
What do you think we should be doing?
We are open to suggestions, and your input is greatly appreciated.
Wow Str!ke - you guys have been through alot! I would imagine that among the priorities is fixing her gut and bringing the microbiome into the fight against the rest of the problems. Last week I caught a live talk from:

Marco RUGGIERO, MD, PhD born in Firenze, Italy, in 1956, Marco Ruggiero obtained his MD in 1980 from the University of Firenze, where he earned the highest distinction, cum laude, for his doctoral thesis on newborn malformations. In 1982-83, he served as a Lieutenant Medical Officer in NATO's Army, specializing in nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare, with a focus on the harmful effects of electromagnetic fields during his deployment with Special Forces and the Carabinieri. Dr. Ruggiero's academic journey includes a postdoctoral position at Burroughs Wellcome Co, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA, and a visiting scientist role at the National Cancer Institute, where he worked alongside Dr. Peter Duesberg. He was awarded a PhD in Molecular Biology by the Italian Government for his groundbreaking research on oncogenes and cancer. Specializing in Diagnostic Radiology and the Science of Imaging, Dr. Ruggiero became a Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Firenze in 1992, where he remained until 2014. His molecular biology courses consistently received top evaluations, culminating in being rated as the best at the University in his final years. Throughout his career, Dr. Ruggiero published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, collaborating with esteemed scientists such as EG Lapetina, SA Aaronson, JH Pierce, PH Duesberg, and Nobel Laureate Sir John Vane, who sponsored his work in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the US. Dr. Ruggiero is frequently invited to present at prestigious scientific conferences, including the Science of Consciousness Conference, and his research interests today encompass neurosciences, immunotherapy, quantum biology, microbiome medicine, and the intersection of spirituality and consciousness.
This is one of the main guys behind the BRAVO probiotics. The talk is not up yet on rumble but here is a similar talk from him:

Their products contain 400 strains. Marco claims that it takes 3 months of daily application to reset the microbiome. He claims that the result is robust detox including micro/nano plastics. It ain't cheap but use the YT link for a 25% off code.

The products include a yogurt mix, freeze dried caps, a skin cream, and suppositories. If there are problems in getting the reset, he suggest the following order of application:
  1. Yogurt mix or caps
  2. Skin cream
  3. Suppositories
This might be a good step to take for her or at least investigate ...

I'm not sure why it's not there, but I wanted to include this paragraph in the first post:

"It is said only arteries develop plaque because of higher blood pressure than on veins, and it can develop in any artery, like on carotids (higher risk of strokes), coronaries (can give symptoms: angina, hypertension), renal (can give hypertension), gut, and legs (called Peripheral Artery disease (PAD): gives pain at walking (aka intermittent claudication) and cramps at night, less hair growth, or even Erectile Dysfunction)."

Thank you very much LQB! I tried to investigate it. My mother might try one capsule bottle. IF not, then we might do a kefir with colostrum and bifidobacteria because, in my estimation, that’s what Bravo is or mostly is including his 400 strains – I feel that kefir has all of that if it were to be measured like his product.

He mentions that his product has bacteriophages, these beneficial virae/viruses that kill bacteria, that they form part of the microbiome of the microbes. Well, fermented products already have that naturally, so making your own should have that. (I had heard about bacteriophages before from others, and they call it ‘postbiotics’ with products being sold as that, but I didn’t know you could get them naturally from fermented foods.) And that these bacteriophages bind to nanoplastics and enter in and out of the cell, but it’s not known how much they actually remove, so it’s assumed they do.

The probiotic also helps detoxify glyphosate and heavy metals, and is anti-inflammatory, he says.

He also mentions that his product increases GcMAF. Remember GcMAF on the forum, that was heralded a cancer cure because it augmented the immune system? Well, on the video he says that mammals, to ensure survival of its offspring, produce colostrum the first 3 days and when the offspring ingests it, the colostrum gets fermented with the gut flora and it’s the fermentation of colostrum that increases GcMAF, and that in turn helps the offspring survive because of the robust immune system activation. So the idea is to make that happen with kefir added with colostrum.
He says his product increases GcMAF 100 times more than the GcMAF injection. Whether it actually works for cancer is a point of contention, but he says ”Complementary to cancer and other conditions [..] with excellent results”.

In his papers he mentions that what really increases GcMAF is bifidobacteria and the chondroitin sulfate, which is present in colostrum and in milk, and that when its saccharides get fermented, it makes the chondroitin different and that in turn increases GcMAF.

What I still don’t know is why he’s had other products like imuno, that also increases GcMAF with ‘vegan’ chondroitin sulfate and ‘ultrapure phosphatidylcholine’ without the probiotic. Does the phosphatidyl choline matter? I don’t know, but his colostrum on his kefir starter also has it for some reason. (There’s one paper where he mentions it matters, but I don’t understand it.)

He mentions on his papers that the kefir is fermented for 48 hours at room temperature, while on his kefir starter he says for 24 hours.

My mother has tried kefir before, but she’s had no real difference. We might do kefir fermented with colostrum and bifidobacteria (with phosphatidyl choline?) or try his product once, I still don’t know because it’s expensive. Thank you very much LQB!

I would also add a good homemade bone/meat broth to help heal the gut of any damage. If you want to try the yogurt/kefir, see if you can find a good source of A2/A2 raw milk. In a very recent podcast interview, Sally Fallon (of the Weston Price Foundation) was asked to provide her #1 health recommendation - she said "drink high quality [grass fed A2/A2] raw milk".

Also, I know several good functional Docs that recommend periodic inoculation with varying strains (soil-based, bifido, etc) of quality probiotics.
