Why should SOTT not publish the good stuff from his website? It is not really an endorsement or promotion of his alleged forecast system.@Harr077 he may publish a lot of good stuff, but that's only to increase website traffic and gain attention.
Some people including myself tried to address this kind of thing years ago.I must admit that I am disappointed by the disregard for this issue and the continued publication of MA's materials, like the recent one:

Automating pregnancy through Robot Surrogates
The most human of experiences has been automated as China unveiled a new AI robot that is capable of carrying a fetus to full term, replicating the entire pregnancy process from conception to birth. Kaiwa Technology in Guangzhou plans to release...www.sott.net
Good resource to review regarding Armstrong's conference:I'd like to attend one of his conferences. He also has online viewing of them. I think the next one is fairly soon and I think I'm traveling during it. I think he is legit and seeing the people there, etc would go a long way to settle questions about him.
This argument misses a few important distinctions.@Kosma, you said this before:
Why should SOTT not publish the good stuff from his website? It is not really an endorsement or promotion of his alleged forecast system.
SOTT also publishes articles from mainstream sources sometimes, even though we all disagree with a lot of what is published in the mainstream.
It has been on YouTube, Rumble and Bitchute for years. Here is the truth about it:The other day I saw that this documentary on Armstrong become available on Youtube. I have yet to watch it, but for a long time I don't think it was easily available to watch. The Forecaster 2 is supposed to be coming out at some point and Armstrong says that a major motion picture movie is supposed to be in the works about him and his work, possibly similar in style to the movie 'The Big Short'.
Armstrong is shilling for himself everywhere and cassiopaea.org is no exception. The other day I saw that this documentary on Armstrong become available on Youtube. It's like praising Peterson now. Except that he had some value at the beginning, which I wouldn't say about M.A. And regarding precious metals thread - I remember how M.A. "predicted" 500$ for gold few years ago. But that's not important - someone is manipulating people, taking money from them and giving "snake oil" theories in return - when confronted directly, as I've tried - runs away in silence.I have found reading his posts and watching interviews with him worth my time and consideration
There are many people saying different things with some feeding their own interests more than others. We learn to discern and sometimes we might find value in some things which somebody says, where others will not. There are indeed snake oil salesmen out there pushing their agenda, but we are not going to ask the C's about all of them and what they think. They are really not that important and neither is M. Armstrong. As with anybody or anything that is shared here, then it helps others if you share what it is about and why you find it interesting. We have proven track of his reality distortions. But if the facts don't speak for themselves, then maybe Kadam's idea is not so bad. So I kindly ask Elders about giving question to C's - maybe @Scottie and @Aeneas since they were recently active on silver thread.
Can you elaborate on what you mean with the part bolded above?Armstrong is shilling for himself everywhere and cassiopaea.org is no exception.
I am just going for the comedy value and I notice that Mike didn't share his cat photo showing himself as a paying attendee on Martin Armstrong's WEC (World Economic Conference) that he praised so much in his post in this thread before. There are many people saying different things with some feeding their own interests more than others. What you're saying is still not clear. Are you suggesting that Armstrong is pretending to be a person on this forum- specifically Mike?So there is a lot at stake for him, and Armstrong cannot possibly afford to not be here.
I can say with certainty that Armstrong is represented here in this thread. It could be Armstrong himself or an intermediary. It has been acknowledged that there are people here "some feeding their own interests more than others". I am saying again that Armstrong cannot afford to not hijack this thread to peddle his interests. I cannot remember any situation where Armstrong was challenged, and not suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, someone was there to defend him and / or promote him. It's the nature of any shill network which in case of Armstrong, is huge. What you're saying is still not clear. Are you suggesting that Armstrong is pretending to be a person on this forum- specifically Mike?
Armstrong has had a falling out with such notable precious metals people as Jim Sinclair and others. I forget the whole deal of what happened, but I think the gist of it is Armstrong started to stab people in the back that supported his work by spreading his message via their websites, etc while he was writing his newsletter from prison. This was after he got out and was starting his current website and work. I've read some of Armstrong's older work from when he was in prison and I found he made some pretty big claims and theories without fully backing them up with data. The topics he tried to cover in 20 pages should be in book form. He is obviously smart, but he does have the arrest and jail time to consider. The conviction excuse was along the lines of being too close to the truth or some such. He could very well be an intelligent conman. If you read him, I'd recommend you take it as one data point to consider while also reading many others perspectives. Personally, I don't read him any longer. Here are a few links to start reading about him and you can use google to find more stuff.
