Some people including myself tried to address this kind of thing years ago.I must admit that I am disappointed by the disregard for this issue and the continued publication of MA's materials, like the recent one:

After more than six years dealing with Armstrong, my experience is that these things can't be stopped (however, Armstrong has recently become so toxic that I guess some of his business partners are taking severe hits by promoting him).
Now I do whatever else works.
Armstrong can't be stopped. That's the problem.
Just lately, I have trained AI bots Grok and Google AI to at least not spread false information copied from Armstrong's propaganda (marketing terms like "AI based" and "model"). This has an interesting side effect. The bots develop very precise language describing his behavior that helps me make my case!
I am not very far away from establishing incontrovertible evidence that Armstrong developed his business (after getting out of jail) with a criminal intent from the outset. I discovered this some years ago and this has been part of my social media messages.

This argument misses a few important distinctions.
- The exclusive function of Armstrong's blog site is click bait: To lure suckers into his online shopping cart where he sells snake oil like conferences, seminars, subscriptions, books and reports costing hundreds and thousands.
- Armstrong is a well-known disinformation agent
Armstrong is a criminal. It's fairly bankrupt to rely on a criminal to make a point.
The other day I saw that this documentary on Armstrong become available on Youtube. I have yet to watch it, but for a long time I don't think it was easily available to watch. The Forecaster 2 is supposed to be coming out at some point and Armstrong says that a major motion picture movie is supposed to be in the works about him and his work, possibly similar in style to the movie 'The Big Short'.

It's like praising Peterson now. Except that he had some value at the beginning, which I wouldn't say about M.A. And regarding precious metals thread - I remember how M.A. "predicted" 500$ for gold few years ago. But that's not important - someone is manipulating people, taking money from them and giving "snake oil" theories in return - when confronted directly, as I've tried - runs away in silence.
We have proven track of his reality distortions. But if the facts don't speak for themselves, then maybe Kadam's idea is not so bad. So I kindly ask Elders about giving question to C's - maybe @Scottie and @Aeneas since they were recently active on silver thread.
There are many people saying different things with some feeding their own interests more than others. We learn to discern and sometimes we might find value in some things which somebody says, where others will not. There are indeed snake oil salesmen out there pushing their agenda, but we are not going to ask the C's about all of them and what they think. They are really not that important and neither is M. Armstrong. As with anybody or anything that is shared here, then it helps others if you share what it is about and why you find it interesting.

I am just going for the comedy value and I notice that Mike didn't share his cat photo showing himself as a paying attendee on Martin Armstrong's WEC (World Economic Conference) that he praised so much in his post in this thread before.

So far so good about how Armstrong tries to hide his identity in social media while at the same time working hard exposing himself.
You need to really understand how Armstrong works if you want to understand my comments and then you will understand that - while he is not important - he is everywhere where it counts for HIM. And since in his mind, everything in this world is ABOUT HIM, that means that he is also in this thread praising his wares, including of course, his conferences and his movies.
Again, we must not forget that his conferences and his movies have only one purpose which is to sell his major snake oil, which is:

So there is a lot at stake for him, and Armstrong cannot possibly afford to not be here.

I can say with certainty that Armstrong is represented here in this thread. It could be Armstrong himself or an intermediary. It has been acknowledged that there are people here "some feeding their own interests more than others". I am saying again that Armstrong cannot afford to not hijack this thread to peddle his interests. I cannot remember any situation where Armstrong was challenged, and not suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, someone was there to defend him and / or promote him. It's the nature of any shill network which in case of Armstrong, is huge.
His interests have been presented in this thread by promotion of his key narrative which is Martin Armstrong The Forecaster The Movie and his key product plus Socrates sales event The World Economic Conference WEC by the same person. The Forecaster The Movie is a complete fabrication and disinformation propaganda piece.
And I am stressing once again that Armstrong's agenda cannot be compared with anyone else's because Armstrong is an unrepentant convicted felon who has spent 11 years in jail for theft and fraud whose CURRENT business is 100% predatory. Come on. How is it that in this thread, the title of which is "Martin Armstrong - why promote a scammer?", nobody has even tried to challenge that title? No discussion or request for clarification whatsoever. Instead we get Armstrong marketing propaganda, totally detached from the thread title. I don't know what would be more obvious than that.
What I find ironic and interesting is that Kosma and I had an exchange about Armstrong over 5 years ago where I cautioned him or her about Armstrong. This exchange actually made me realize that I hadn’t really done any true due diligence on Armstrong in terms of an adequate review of what he was saying and had been saying. I had for many years mostly let what others had said about him and were saying about Armstrong influence my perspective, even though many years earlier had looked at the reports he was producing from prison.
