Earthquakes around the world

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT MARCH 20, 2026

A strong magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred in the Tyrrhenian Sea near Isola Salina island, Italy

M 5.2 - 46 km W of Leni, Italy

There's been some notable seismic increase from Italy to Türkiye in the last 5 days:

Italy - M 6.0
Greece - M 5.5, M 5.1
Western Türkiye - M 5.1
Central Türkiye - M 5.3

A stronger tremor is possible near one of these areas. I would also focus on areas in-between, like Levant-Cyprus, Crete and the Aegean. Frank Hoogerbeets

A strong magnitude 5.7 earthquake occurred in the Coral Sea near Aore island, Vanuatu. This region has been very active since late February

Quite the drama queen saying downright stupid things more often than not. That this attracts people says everything you need to know.
I thought the same thing, considering his last video had way too much emotion. Maybe the uptick in recent solar activity is affecting his biorhythm 🤷‍♂️

So it's possible that seismic activity has more to do with planetary and lunar alignments than with solar activity alone.

Three earthquakes M 6.+ have hit the Samoa and Tonga region in less than 24 hours

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT MARCH 22,2026

We concluded the observation period from March 13 to 22 with 7 earthquakes of M ≥ 6.0

The strongest event occurred in northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge with M6.7. Frank Hoogerbeets mentions
We don't see earthquakes like this very often here. The M5.8 [in Cuba] occurred on the Caribbean Plate, and in between we have a subduction zone capable of producing earthquakes of magnitude 8 or higher. It's been a long time, so we know stress is building up here along this fault.

With one week left in March, 13 earthquakes with a magnitude of 6 or higher have been recorded.

On average, there are about 130–150 earthquakes with a magnitude of 6.0 or higher each year worldwide. This amounts to approximately 11–12 M6+ earthquakes per month.

In previous months there were

December 2025: 2 of M7+ & 7 of M6+ Total seismic energy estimate 6027 gigawatt hours.

January 2026: 11 of M6+ Total seismic energy estimate 962 gigawatt hours

February 2026: 1 of M7.2 & 11 of M6+ Total seismic energy estimate 1544 gigawatt hours,

So, although there was a slight increase in the number of M6+ earthquakes in March, December and February released more energy due to M7+ earthquakes. On average, there are about 15 earthquakes of magnitude 7 or higher per year worldwide. This means that, on average, one would occur per month. None occurred in January 2026, and as of now, none has occurred in March. Will they occur in April?

● USGS Earthquake forecast updated 21 March 2026, 21:07 UTC
Tomorrow the 22nd, Earth aligns with the Sun and Neptune, while Venus sits in-between Mars and Jupiter. This planetary geometry converges with notable lunar geometry involving Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus. As a result, seismic activity may peak around 23-24 March.

Next observation period March 23 to April 01

2026-03-23-overview.png

Three critical planetary geometries will occur during this period

●Mercury, Sun, Venus on March 25
●Mercury, Sun, Uranus on March 29
●Mercury, Venus, Uranus on March 30

Several lunar configurations (moon, Earth, planet) will also occur

● With Uranus on March 23
● With Jupiter on March 26
● With Mars on March 31
● With Saturn on April 01
● With Neptune on April 01

At this time, the probability of an earthquake with a magnitude greater than M6.5 is 50%, and in the worst-case scenario, the probability of an earthquake M≥7.5 is 40%, according to SSGEOS's analysis.
