I found this claim, that thousands of pilots have been lost, due to interactions with UFOs, to be intriguing. Why didn't the various militaries learn as quickly as the Russians did that these UFOs have "incredible capacity for retaliation", and choose not to play with fire?

FOUND IT!!! I searched for so long! I began to think that on my given YT sources somebody made a mistake and I remembered wrong, but NO! My memory is right. Here it is. The evidence is located - indeed - in the YT sources I gave you and during watching dozens of hours of these investigative videos, I routinely saved the most intriguing evidence in form of screenshots thinking that all those shocking occurrences are worthy to mention here. I managed to finally pin down the exact location, here is the video and its videotime link and below a screenshot from the video showing page 178 of the excellent investigative research book of Timothy Good:
So as you can see, indeed, the US Air Force and the US Navy together really lost thousands of airplanes while chasing UFOs via major accidents!:

Indeed, more than 18,000 aircraft (and their pilots, presumably) were lost in this way over merely the 5-year period from 1952 to 1956 alone. How many more have been lost to date, altogether, since then is imponderable, given the news black-out imposed shortly after that, to prevent such information from coming to the public's awareness.

He is not wrong of course, but this sounds like the "alien disclosure" psyop may go either way: angelic aliens saving us or demonic aliens attacking us (Project Bluebeam).

An "alien saviors" psyop still seems more likely, considering the world situation. Also, Project Bluebeam had way too much exposure and too many people are aware of it.

And that's the beauty of it! So many people know about it that, if anything strange starts happening in the skies, Project BlueBeam can be used as a flytrap to catch many people who think they are "aware".

Note that those are only aircraft accidents, not necessarily deaths. Probably only a fraction of those were UFO related (maybe small, maybe large). I believe Good quotes some of the official breakdown of causes on the next page.
