2017 Crop Circles

Curiously, a crop circle appeared days before the eclipse, I do not much about this crop circles, perhaps someone more knowable, can confirmed it?

Maybe it is only by chance, but the form resembles in my eyes this interesting well in sardinia:

It is the well of Santa Christina, a well that is fed by underground water as well as rainwater. It is even said to be an "air well" because the construction functions like a Kondensator-unit to even produce water from out of the humidity of the air.

but as I said it only came to my mind because of the shape, keyhole-alike.

Interesting, they do look quite alike! I looked up more info today about the well of Santa Christina and found the following:

About the crop circle, there's also this article on sott: https://www.sott.net/article/360310-Eclipse-like-crop-circle-appears-just-days-before-the-solar-eclipse. In the article, it mentions the resemblance of the crop circle to a radio broadcast tower with a satellite dish at the top and that the base of the crop circle points toward London Southend airport which is not too far in the distance.

I think generally this year the quality of crop circles got better again.
