5 Creepy Ways Video Games Are Trying to Get You Addicted

Y'know it's interesting, because some, not all, but some of these things they do to videogames like WoW are the reason i simply won't play them.

I still play video games every now and again, and let me tell ya, I don't like a lot of the newer stuff.

It's strange to me that someone would for instance, play longer just because the save points are farther apart, that makes no sense to me. Why?

Because I have other things to do and I don't play videogames unless I have the time, and I sure as heck do not wanna wait very long for a save point.

As a matter of fact, I have a game that I like but just can't stand the amount of time everything takes, so actually that decreases my urge to play.

They're definately right about the "potato chips" analogy, for sure! (ohhh just one more... :halo:) but that applies to anything, imo.

They definately got the formula right for these MMORPG's, in terms of getting the player to keep playing.

Ask anyone, ANYONE, who has played world of warcraft and quit, will tell you they don't know what they were thinking.
