You're right. My mistake was using a web search with those coordinates, which showed a location over the ocean. As you suggested, I used Google Earth, which I downloaded on my phone, and surprisingly, the exact image appeared over land. It’s still clear that this small area suffered from digitally enhanced over- or under-programming issues. There are possibly many sites with these glitches around the world. It’s worth keeping in mind that not all locations can be easily displayed, or some areas may not be shown due to security concerns. Thanx o_s_u

I’m going to try and fetch raw Sentinel-2 and Landsat tiles from the Copernicus / USGS public archives or their AWS/Google Cloud mirrors, stitch and display them here so we can compare directly to the Google Maps screenshot.

It's likely there's nothing to hide, but perhaps there was too much cloud cover, causing the software to overcomplicate the image. If I allow myself to speculate, that part of the world is a geopolitical bottleneck, and if most secure sites are obscured, what would be more obvious? A quick pixelation over a site would probably fool most people. However, I'm just exploring this idea, and I think it's most likely a simple glitch.

Thanks for the info axj. Unfortunately, I use a simple phone where, if I'm not squinting, I'm glossing over details, and I don't care to use a laptop because I'm tired of sitting in front of a screen. So, my Macbook is mostly collecting dust now, lol. But I do wonder: is there more to this image, or are we chasing a wild goose?

Apple Maps does not have that mirroring glitch in the same area:

Now we're possibly getting somewhere. Psychic warfare is the oldest game in town, a craft the entire world needs to understand better. Our subconscious minds are, sadly, an open battlefield vulnerable to lateral manipulation. Are we exposing such an attack? Regardless, we must remain vigilant about all the ways this can unfold. Still, we need to be sensible about the image, as it may simply be a ridiculous image glitch. Nevertheless, what you're saying is quite important.
