56% of young adults know little about gov't wiretaps

A few weeks ago on SOTT Talk Radio during show #41, Steve Jobs' Apple Revolution and the Fall of Man, Niall quoted this laughable statement made, extolling the benefits of information technology, by the producer of the YouTube video, “Gurdjieff and Steve Jobs”:

“The upper level of college students today is better informed about what is going on in the world today than any generation has been”.

The next day, I came across a newspaper article citing one of many statistics refuting this ridiculous claim:

"according to a Pew Center poll, 56% of young adults (18 to 29 years old) 'are not following at all' news about the government monitoring our phone calls and e-mails!
