As for Britain, Politcian Paedo Paradise, the issue really is being talked about everywhere now, especially with the 'lost documents' and Rolf Harris judgment. That said, overall, i think people are relatively ignorant of the implications. I also just read, that Cliff Richard (old singer, household name, popular with old ladies) has adopted Barbadian citizenship and, apparently, they do not have an extradition treaty with the UK. I had a friend who visited his house many years ago and i still remember her comment about his, alleged, house boy. Seriously chilling.
Also, 'uncharged mobile phones' are now banned on in bound US flights. So, as mentioned in the show, just in time for summer holidays; and, i believe a air travel company just released flights to the US, from the UK, for £150... (_http://www.channel4.com/news/u-s-bans-uncharged-mobiles-and-other-devices-on-planes) that -"US officials singled out smartphones including iPhones made by Apple and Galaxy phones made by Samsung for extra security checks on U.S.-bound direct flights from Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
AQAP has a track record of plotting such attacks."
It is like they make it up as they go along.

CNS and I are frying up dinner wondering just what book you're referring to. Are you talking about "Angels Don't Play This Haarp"? If you are then I think you may have been listening to last week's show. Laura wasn't on today. That would explain why you couldn't access the chat room. :(

BTW, I was wrong about Laura being on last week. It sounds like you caught show #70: Earth Changes In An Electric Universe, when Pierre and Laura were interviewed. That's when Charles called in about the book and I had a similar reaction to yours. It was great hearing Laura tell it like it is!
