75 brawl at party for 3 y o in Cinci

Not proud to be an Ohioan after reading this. :-[ They had a birthday party at 'Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall in Elmwood Place' with 150 guests attending for a 3 year old girl ... There's a video showing babies being hauled out, party hats strewn about and broken beer bottles everywhere. I reallly cannot imagine what this girl's mother was thinking to have this 'party there. Looks like I'll think twice before going anywhere there's alot of people.

..."When (first responding) officers arrived there, it was a pretty intense fight going on inside," Elmwood Place Police Chief William Peskin said. "They actually had to wait until they got backup there in order to make entry because there were so many people throwing bottles and chairs, so they had to actually wait."

...The fight apparently broke out between the birthday girl's father and her mother's boyfriend, police said.

...Police told WCPO beer bottles were the primary weapons used in the bloody melee. One person in the back threw as many bottles as he could find, Peskin said.

A total of 20 officers responded to the scene, where nearly 30 children were in attendance.

EDIT to add..

Can anyone recommend a book focusing more on social psychosis rather than political? My Reading list is long but subject compells a little.

If you are concerned Political Ponerology somehow focuses on politics, don't be fooled by the title.

Political Ponerology will provide you with ample knowledge on social affects of psychopathology.

In fact, I recall Lobaczewski going into some detail on how a percentage of society is immediately affected by the presence of psychopathy in a hypnotic way.

Thankyou Gonzo ... the exerpts I've read from that title have been ..um.. really too scientific for my comprehension ...completely over my head. Any other recomendations ? :-[

Maybe these articles will help you to have a good grasp on the problem before trying to read PP in full ?
I know it's not easy to read but well worth the effort because to understand how psychopathy works can be transposed in many different situations.

Thank you so much Tigersoap. I've been noticing that regular, everyday people you meet at home depot, the gas station, driving down a busy city street; basically anywhere you go, I feel a sort of meanness, anger and rage as an undercurrent of everyday, normal emotional state. :O I don't take any of it personally right now, but I just get a sense of people ready to blow for any miniscule reason. I guess I'm looking for a clearer understanding of what I'm formulating as a psycho trickle down theory. :umm:

Very much appreciate your reply ...I'll look them over carefully.
