I found very funny and at the same time, a little concerned about the attitude of parents forcing a child to do certain religious rites, when clearly the child does not want :cool2: ... I would like to know what do you think about?

Unfortunately, at that age, a child really has not control over what the parents are forcing it to do. In this care, since I'm sure the child really isn't old enough to understand entirely the premise behind the baptism, I wonder if his reaction wasn't just to the fact that he didn't want water poured over his head in front of a bunch of people.

Yes, good point... I was wondering the same thing, and well, many other things for me as a child I questioned when I "pressured" to go to church

I remember always pressured me to baptize me, but never forced me because this "pressure" was being much older, which allowed me to "decide" in a way... although here in Chile most people are Catholic tradition .. But my family belonged to the Baptist church .. and I don't know why I tend to think that in Protestant churches or Baptist church (at least here) have slightly less distortion of what might be an "original teaching".. at least I keep very good memories of many people in the church..

I agree. It is very probably that he didn't like that situation. The same thing could happen with other things made to him that are not religious.
