A creature that I didn't see but felt standing in front of me

I want to share the strange experience I had few years ago (5 or more). I was coming back home it was almost night. When I almost reached my home, I froze for a moment, like some sort of stream that ran through me from my heels to my head. I felt like in front of me there was some big creature, somewhere 2 or even more meters tall. I did not see it but I feel it, know the size of it and I know that it has humanoid appearance. The creature was motionless, like observing me. I wasn’t aware of Cassiopaea at that time, the first thing I thought about this creature that it was some devil. I wasn’t particularly religious but it was the first thing that came to my mind. I had another belief system at that time maybe that is why I didn’t see this creature, but why I felt it?
Interesting thing, that something similar happened with my friend. He visited me not so ling ago.One day when he woke up he said me that he was scared at night or almost in the morning. He said that he saw/felt like some creature was standing next to his bad. He described me the size of it where it was standing and then I shared with him that I had the similar experience. His parents are fanatically religious and this had a great influence on him. So he is also religious, however once or twice he told me that he doesn’t really know how things are in this world.

If it's something that's hanging around where you live then it may be a good idea to consider moving. I can't find the thread right now, but I remember reading about a forum member having lots of similar experiences and the suggestion was to leave the house if possible.

Have you read the book High Strangeness, or anything by John Keel or Karla Turner (there are some threads on them)? They might help.

Having said that, it's possible that this was actually a warning about something else. Could it be that there was a burglar near by perhaps?

Another idea that comes to mind, that maybe it's an awake variation of the "dark man dream". If you are not familiar with the concept, read about it here. It is basically a sort of psychic warning, a wake up call to start paying attention to the reality or to make some decisions, otherwise the consequences may be unfortunate. fwiw.

I would like to clarify that my own experience happened on the street where parents and brother’s family live (At that time I lived with them), it was about 100 metres from my house. When I feel this creature – it was 1-1.5 metres from me I guess. And it the situation took place near the house where nobody lived at that time, the owners only visited it from time to time for house repair works (I don’t know exactly) as far as I remember. And my friend’s experience happened in the house where I live right now which is over 400km away from my parent’s place. And it is happened somewhere 3 month ago. My friend told me also that he had a weird dream about the horse, I don’t remember exactly what the day was, I guess it happened the day when he ‘saw’ this creature. In the dream he was in his house which is far away from here and some evil horse pulling a cart attack his house, the horse broke the gate and my friend was running away from it.
Nevertheless my wife and I have some unpleasant feelings about the room where my friend slept during the visit. We had these feelings before the situation with my friend’s experience

It could be. During and after the maydan occurrences ('revolution' in Ukraine) the quantity of robberies has risen dramatically.
Only in our apartment building there were over 5 robberies. The young lady that works with my wife was one of a many people in the apartment building who had their apartment robbed during day time.
The police said that statistic tells that the best way of protection against robbery is to install the alarm system.

I partially aware about this concept, I'll read it, thanks. My wife have dark man dreams many times from school years.
