A fishing story.

Who would have taught that someone would post about a fishing experience in this forum and in the PSI tread for that matter. Not me for once but here I'm writing one that made me shiver and wonder.

As some may know, I decide last June to spend more quality time with my daughter and wife this summer so, we often headed together in some remote area of the natural reserve closed by. Last Monday me and my daughter went for a 3 days camping and fishing trip at the far end of a wildlife reserve. We taught to try fishing for a new species for us, a fish call walleye, to change from the usual trout. So here is the story that caught my attention.

It is getting late around 8 pm and my daughter show sign that she want to stop for the day. We are up since early morning as the sun was rising and we spend the good part of the day fishing. The lake is 4 to 5 km long and about 1.5 large so it is a big lake to explore and find fish. Luckily, we did find a spot just in front of where we camp in a little bay that join the larger lake by a narrow maybe 25 meter large and 50 meter long. My daughter as withdraw her line from the lake a good sign that this is enough fishing for her for the day. As we are on the others lake side and have to make a last passage into the narrow to go back to the camp, I told her this; Gabrielle we are going to make a last pass into the narrow and catch a big fish, a 4 pounds walleye and it is you that is going to catch it. ( the biggest one we caught so far was 2 pounds) So, put your line back into the lake and let close the day. It did not take more persuasion, my daughter dropped her line to the bottom and we started trolling trough the narrow. About half way trough the pass within a few minute of my prediction Gabrielle get a bight, I bring my line in and stop the engine and get ready with the net watching the dark water of the lake for a first glint of the fish. It is the biggest, she is exited but stay focused on what she as to do, making sure that the line stay bended and bringing it toward the net already in the lake waiting.

Once in the boat we can appreciate it size and I said this look like a 4 pounds fish, let weight it. Sure enough, the fish weight 4 pounds on the scale, my daughter with eye as large as saucer realize that everything happened as I told her it would happen. Daddy, she told me, do you realize that everything you said happened as you predicted. Yes I said, shook by the realization but at the same time so happy to see the big smile on Gabrielle face. Back at the camp, we discussed the event and try to explain it as a coincidence but as I don't believe coincidence I tended to think that it may have been more like wishful thinking fourth density materialization. We went to bed still wondering.

Next morning I was up early and decided to let Gabrielle sleep some more as I went fishing in the bay in front of the camping. Still wondering if last night call was just pure luck, I decided to put it to the test and wishfully said to myself that I will catch a 3 pounds walleye. Guest what happened within a few minute; I caught a 3 pounds walleye. For a moment I taught that I was in the twilight zone, that reality shifted or something like that. If this is the kind of reality to expect on the higher density, it is disturbing to contemplate.
Could this be pure luck, what are the odds that I could call those two shots? One other thing, someone looking at the picture of my daughter with the big fish, saw that there were orbs of light on it. It may mean something or not but doing my breathing exercise Monday night by the fire and warrior breath during the sunset, I felt such and energy around.
Is the veil between densities so thin that we could experience some kind of psychic phenomenon or am I imagining thing or being played with by some hyper dimensional trickster?
Your thought is welcome.

That's a cool story Laurentian, but it probably would be best not to put too much stock in it. Maybe there was some sort of "synching up" of your being and your chosen place to camp for that little time. It's like when the shamans of the native tribes would direct the hunters where to look for deer or buffalo, and sometimes even tell them how many animals would be there. They were so much more connected to their environment that these knowings could have been as much a natural sensing on a subliminal level as any sort of psi. Still, getting the exact weights was pretty neat. Maybe buy a lotto ticket once in a while? ;)

Thanks for sharing Laurentien, very cool story.
Like herodancer, I'd say leave it on the side for now until you can gather more info. Keep an open eye.
If I were you I would most probably ask myself what happened the last time you were with your daughter, out doing things, if anything of course.
Take care!

This sound plausible Herondancer because as it happen, I didn't know much about walleye fishing (read some advice on internet the week before) and frankly didn't know where to go fishing in this 5 km long by 1.5 km large lake. As it happen in late afternoon I decided to try my luck outside of the bay but, just before crossing the narrow I suddenly stopped the boat and dropped the line because I herd or felt and inner voice telling me that this was the right place and got a 2 pounds fish on the first pass. We got all our fish from that spot after that.
Maybe my breathing session and warriors breath exercise the night before as something to do with it. I felt so much energy when doing the warrior breath, Gabrielle told me not to shout so loud that someone may hear me but, I just had to expel this energy and there was nobody around for miles. Reconnecting with nature was one of the reason for taking my daughter in the wood so often this summer and showing her that nature provide and nurture those who respect her.Every time the most difficult was for both of us to lift up the camp and go back to the "civilization", to leave behind the the tenderness and protective womb of our mother to us all. Experiencing something closer to a paleo way of life was what I wanted to show her as well. She marvel at the beauty of the wild life, she is a good amateur ornithologist now, carrying her book and binocular every where, even when fishing. It was so far a great learning experience for both of us and we still have some more time fishing and camping projected before the end of summer and the start of the school year.
