Not sure which forum to post this in, did not see one specific to finance or economy. As this pertains to current day news, and stories being covered on SOTT, I thought I'd post it here.
I just finished watching yesterday's episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. It is a highly remarkable episode, connecting the dots quite bluntly on two major topics: Just how unbelievable the current oil spill situation is, tieing it in all the way to Halliburton; all the way to just how fixed the market has been for Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Bank of America, and Citigroup for the last 3 months. The statistics revealed are absolutely shocking, only slightly less so than how Jon Stewart ties in so many threads with them both. He seems to dig quite deeper than usual on this episode.
For SOTT readers who caught the suppressed whistleblower testimony calling out GS and JPM, the story spun here should be a bit of a jaw dropper. It was for me anyways. :)
I will caution however, there is a large amount of profanity in this episode. It may not necessarily be appropriate for young children or people sensitive to such things.
If it is OK, I will post the torrent file link as well as the direct streaming link from Comedy Central. I don't know if there are transcripts available somewhere for shows like this?

Enjoy, I hope it at least brings a smile and chuckle to some as it did for me -- some of the jokes woven into the seriousness are just priceless!! :)
