A not so nice dog that was on the loose

The Force is Strong With This One
So, in this recent dream that I had .. I looked up a steep road to notice an aggressive beast of a pit-bull charging down towards me :scared: , I could tell this dog's intention was to tear me to shreds and that 'aware of threat' feeling lead me to climb into the back of a small pickup truck for protection.

The dog then approached the trunk of the truck, and just as I thought it would jump inside and get me, it ran back into the middle of the street and got struck by a speeding car. The dog slid down the road at high speed, it was apparent that several of his/her bones were broken, causing him/her to die.

The owner of the dog then comes down the road on foot, looking for his pet that was on the loose, just to find him in critical condition.

I have no idea what this dream could mean, it has been some time since I had such a vivid graphic dream like this one.

Hello 15,

From my experienced in dreams, when aggressive beast charging towards me, always some unpleasant situations occur in my real life.
But you had great dream, because you managed to escape the dog and the dog died from accident. So you don't need to worry about it.

Perhaps, someone will help you to get out of the difficult moment.

Hi 15,
The owner was looking for his lost pet, this pet attacks people, the dog's personality is such that it ran away from its owner and let him/her to its demise ir it could have escaped.
From the psychological apprach, It seems like a trait or habit that we hold dear, but in the end is not so good and ends up in destruction in some way or another.

From the real like apprach, It could also be a fear of dogs, do you fear this particular kind of dog?

In the dream it seems what saved you was the chance and luck not confrontation, it could be a sign, giving you an example to letting the animal loose and not training it properly can end up is bad results, the dog could have jumped into the pick up truck but it didn't, in the dream you were safe, to me suggests your awareness of the situation played part in avoiding dodging the threat and have the animal retreat.

It is important to try to look if it relates to any aspect of yourself. OR. A situation involving dangerous dynamics in/with people around you.

Don't know if you had the chance to see this thread posted by another forum member, where dogs are also mentioned. Perhaps you may get some ideas.

As for possible interpretation, here are some ideas.

First of all, a bit more than a year ago I also had a very vivid dream that involved a pack of black dogs that were moving from place to place, harming and attacking people. The dream was more involved than that, but this was the main idea. And when I tried to understand it, the suggestions were to see it as a representation of the "shadow" side of self, an inner-predator, harmful or unprocessed emotions that had to be made aware of, accepted and dealt with in a responsible way.

Another point that you may consider, especially since your theme has an element of an owner that neglected his dog and allowed him to get loose, that dogs indeed require discipline, otherwise they can not only harm others, but also lead to their own demise. Which will be a result of a self-sabotaging behavior.

You may also consider the following excerpt from the C's, that is also mentioned in another dream thread:

97-10-07

A: Okay, now picture yourself in a forest clearing. In that clearing you are surrounded by a pack of wolves. These wolves, in your mind, represent a blockage. The blockage is emotion. Emotion is a necessary component of life in 3rd density. It can be of great assistance, and it can also be a hindrance. Normally, in critical situations closest to the 3rd density individuals existence, these emotions serve temporarily as hindrances. So, we ask you to picture these wolves surrounding you. And, as wolves will do when addressed in a calm voice, when one takes a deep breath internally and externally, and asks the wolves in a calming, reassuring voice, to simply go back into the forest, that all is well, then the wolves turn and retreat, as wolves will do. This removes the hindering aspect of emotion, which allows intuition to become stronger. Then, in turn, one's intuitions are not "torn."

But then, it is hard to tell for sure without knowing you or specifics of what has been happening in your life. So, fwiw.

Thanks for the reply,

I will take the dream as a hint - to pay more attention to my true emotions and conversation. Sometimes I tend to blabber out words in conversation just because that is the quick 'animal' reply, sort of like the bark of a dog.. When in reality, there is possibility for a much more honest, gentle, reply. (Honest expression)
