About Time ?

A Disturbance in the Force
Hi Everyone

I have a question about time. The Cs have said on numerous
occasions "Time exists only as an Illusion" or "Remember that
time does not exist except as a perception". and I'm having a
terrible time wrapping my head around this concept. Einstein
said "the only reason for time is so that everything doesn't
happen at once" Why would this not be the case in higher
density's ? Events still happen, time is the measure of it's
duration , Right ? I hope some can help with the pieces I'm
missing

thanks
John

Welcome to the forum, RotwiellR.

Seeing as this is your first post on the forum, we would really appreciate it if you would post a brief intro about yourself in the Newbies section, telling us how you found this forum, how long you've been reading it and/or the SOTT page, whether or not you've read any of Laura's books yet, etc.

Thanks. :)

Hi RotwiellR and :welcome: to the forum.

This question of yours has been discussed here quite a few times and constitutes a recurring theme.

The common denominator would be that our third density concept of time isn't valid in the grander scheme of things at all densities combined, and yet we as third density beings cannot really understand beyond that limited concept we constantly have to use and reckon with. The real nature of time remains elusive to us.

Once I've read a remark somewhere long ago that sort of stuck with me: It's not time that passes -- but WE are passing by.

Anyway, here's a list of suitable topics that could help you along, I suppose:

What is reality? Time.

What time is it???

Time

There is no time in any frame of reference.

Time

Professor write ups: "Why time appears to speed up with age"

Age And "Time"

Accelerated time

Julian Barbour & Time

J. W. Dunne and "An Experiment with Time"

Happy reading and hunting for understanding.

Hope this helps a bit. :)

Hello RotwiellR.

I don't know if you know or have had the time to read the Wave Series from Laura yet, but it will give you answers to your questions :-).
