Advanced searches in the Cass transcripts

Hi all,
just wondering if there is anyway to filter the search results from the transcripts? For instance I wanted to find out what the C's said about 'hell', but it seems every session starts with the word 'hello' and ends up in the search results.

Thanks,
Jeff. :)

Hi Jeff,

Can you give some more detail about where/how you're doing the searches.
For example, if you're on a linux or Mac OSX box, I can give you some pointers on how to do the word specific searches.

It would be nice if you could give some context.

Hi Dominique,

I am using the sessions application downloaded from the casschat group on windows XP.

I am using the search function that comes with the application.

Thanks,
Jeff.

Download the zip file instead of the exe file, extract the html files and search with a familiar application of yours that is also capable of advanced searches, e.g. Internet Explorer.

Hi.

What about searching for "hell "* (one space) that way you will not get the "hello"´s.

edit *tried it, seem to work.

Thanks for the tips Data and Grim!

I didn't realize you could include spaces in the search but that seems to work.

Jeff ;)
