Alex Jones and Kevin Trudeau: Two Peas in a Pod

A few weeks back the world's only purveyor of truth, God himself, Mr. Alex Jones, had on the ever-genuine, straight-talking Kevin Trudeau, the world's leading supplier of miracle cure-alls, on his show.

(Of course I am being somewhat facetious here.)

Well, in case you didn't happen to witness this grotesque display of two snake oil salesmen proverbially swapping spit with each other for over an hour, as they repeatedly patted each other on the back about how great one another is, here (_http://tinyurl.com/m4rddr) is the interview on YouTube.

In between their making out, the charlatan Trudeau talked about how close he is with the elites. In fact so close that he gets to hang around with them on their yachts as they talk about reducing the world's population of useless eaters. Heck, Trudeau is apparently so important that he even attended this year's Bilderberg meeting in Greece. Or so he claims on Jones' show.

Of course Jones went along with everything Trudeau said, and was even getting off on the fact that Trudeau was providing such "revealing" information -- information that one could gather by simply listening to Jones' broadcast for 30 minutes or watching one of his videos. Jones was so busy fawning over Trudeau that he didn't even ask him why he continually referred to himself and his alleged Bilderberg buddies as "we" when talking about their nefarious plans for culling the herd.

Of course it doesn't matter because everything Trudeau was saying is no doubt bullshit, much like everything else that he has peddled over the years to what can only be described as painfully gullible and naive people. It would seem that many of these people are also members of the "Truth" movement.

Tonight I happened to stumble upon a passage taken from Trudeau's book, More Natural Cures (pg. 11), where he claims to have visited Area 51 as a member of a "secret society." While there he alleges to have witnessed alien spacecraft and even alien bodies, proving that nearly everything Trudeau says are lies, and not even good ones:

"As a member of this secret society I have sat in private meetings with the heads of state from countries around the world. I have attended secret international business meetings where business leaders, politicians, and media moguls coerce together to create the new world order with global control over individual people everywhere. I have been shown and have seen with my own eyes secret government and corporate documents. I have heard with my own ears how Big Pharma, the food industry, and the oil industry are working together with governments and media outlets around the world. I have been in over sixty countries, yet there are no stamps of evidence in any of my passports. I have been to Area 51 in Nevada. (This top secret military installation is still denied to exist by the U.S. government.) This is where much of our technology has been developed. Area 51 houses most extraterrestrial artifacts, including a working spacecraft and dead alien bodies. I've seen these things with my own two eyes. As a member of this secret society I was used in covert operations around the world."

Now, most people already know that Trudeau is a complete fraud, so most of what I am saying probably is not news to most people reading this. However, some of Jones' fanbase of cult followers will no doubt send me nasty e-mails for daring to speak critically of their anointed one, questioning why Jones would have this guy on his show. I suppose it's wrong for me to question the motives of their fearless leader. It probably means I want to divide their movement, or, worse, am a paid disinfo agent working for the CIA or Mossad. Then again, maybe I am just "jealous" because I haven't been asked on to CNN or FOX, like Jones has.

The fact is, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the "Truth" movement does not serve to expose the truth, but rather to discredit and marginalize the truth, making anyone who talks about certain conspiratorial subjects appear to be deluded at best, and completely insane at worst. If Jones is such a defender of truth, as many of his starry-eyed followers believe, then why would he give credence to a character as shady as Trudeau, while not even drilling the guy for answers about his alleged connections.
