The Living Force
There are new films by Adam Curtis called 'All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace'.
There will be a third part to this serie.

I watched part 2 first by mistake but so far it is very very interesting, too bad there aren't any mention of psychopathy but at the end of part 2, some very specific comments alude to this reality which made me think that 'if they only knew'.
It's an interesting exercise to see the hidden hands of psychopathy behind these events and to what purpose, they need us to see their reality, co-opt it and shape it accordingly osit.

All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace - Part 1

In this episode Curtis tracks the effects of Ayn Rand's ideas on American financial markets, particularly via the influence on Alan Greenspan.

All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace - Part 2

This episode investigates how machine ideas such as cybernetics and systems theory were applied to natural ecosystems, and how this relates to the false idea that there is a balance of nature. Cybernetics has been applied to to human beings to attempt to build societies without central control, self organising networks built of people, based on a fantasy view of nature.

i've watched the first 2 parts and found them excellent as usual from adam curtis.

he would sooo be the right filmmaker to tackle ponerology...

I watched the 3rd and final part last night. I thought the first two where pretty good, but could have benefited greatly from knowledge of penorology. Having said that, if you know about psychopaths, the first two parts where quite intriguing from the point of view of seeing the damage/influence (in terms of social programming) and the connections these people have.

The third part I found slightly lacking in comparison, and although it drew some interesting connection it felt slightly more lost/despondent than the first two parts. Perhaps because of the bleakness of the conclusion he was reaching?

If you like Adam Curtis's other work, you'll enjoy this too.

I just watched this and have to agree with others that have commented on this..... give adam curtis his final piece of the jigsaw (psychopathy) and the resulting image is pretty much perfect. Without it its not got the impact thats needed. With it u have the most amazing pieces of the jigsaw ever told on mainstream TV.
