That is great news, Foxx! I am happy that you found something that is working for you.

As far as the irritability and anger, if you haven't read When "The Body Says No", that book would be helpful, along with EE. Also, your liver may be a bit sluggish. There is a thread on that also. I've found that the recommended liver supplements help a lot. I took them for 6 weeks and my sluggish liver issues are resolved.

Healing the gut (and mind) is a long process. Sally forth!

Yup, I've read it and am working to integrate the changes I need to make to get things in better order. I also keep up with EE--full program twice a week and POTS every night, with pipe breathing as needed. Thanks for the sluggish liver thread too--I've read that and used various forms of those supplements with varying degrees of success over time. I feel like I'm finally on or nearing the home stretch of having a fully operational liver :)

In other words, it sounds like this so-called "meat allergy" is simply being unable to digest it because the system is not tooled up to do so and it takes time for the DNA to readjust/retool.

Could be--which makes me wonder if it relates to being vegetarian since I was a strict vegetarian/vegan for ~4 years (it took reading SOTT every day for a year or so to end that craziness). I've now been a paleo/keto meat eater for about 4 years, maybe a little more, so about the same amount of time. Though when I first started out on the Paleo diet and eating meat again, aside from an initial reaction of hives, everything seemed to be going great. Things got worse for me with the keto diet, but I stubbornly stuck to it.

I think my biggest mistakes in this process probably involved not doing enough detoxing initially so the DNA was unable to repair itself, doing things too quickly and ignoring the feedback I was getting from my body, and not dealing with the emotional components necessary for healing.

It's certainly been quite the learning experience!
