Alternative to mainstream feminine hygiene products

I've heard some good things recently about the feminine hygiene products at this site:

http://gladrags.com

They're supposed to be more comfortable and sanitary (their reusable pads are made from organically-grown cotton) than more mainstream products; the site has good FAQ and videos pages. Similar products were also mentioned in regard to preparedness here and here.

Some time ago I ordered menstrual pads, panty liners and a moon cup here at this German shop:

The order came fast and without problems. I am still happy with it. Besides feminine hygiene products they offer baby articles.
I can recommend Ladycup (moon cup), Divacup (moon cup) and Fairy Hammock menstrual pads/ panty liners. I can also recommend Wemoon organic menstrual pads/ panty liners, which I ordered at another shop that does not exist anymore.

Thanks a lot! they're really nice! I think I'll try to buy a kit. :)

I have the similar one from "touta" that I bought while back in Japan.

I have not used it yet, but I remember the sales lady said to me that this is more comfortable than commercial pads, easy to maintain it clean, and it has a good support from leaking than how it looks. It is definitely good to have one handy for in case of emergency.

I got Ladycup as the concept made it sound pretty handy: you can sterilize it, it is very easy to use, very hygienic and so forth. You don't have to stock pile pads either. Must confess I haven't tried it though, but other women swear by it.

During the economy crisis in the back then Soviet Union, paddies were a commodity. At least from what I saw. So it might be one of those things to keep in hand!

I bought mine years ago from:

It is true, they are more comfortable and healthier, because if you know what non-organic cotton can do to your health or if you know what manufacturers put in these feminine hygiene products, well the choice is simple, OSIT.

Stocked a dozen (similar, not quite this quality), or so for the first aid kit to use as a possible trauma dressing. Just in case of possible perfused heavy bleeding scenarios, as a pressure dressing bandage.

They really work well in worse case injury situations. Definite recommend.

Wow! Very informative. I was looking for something along these lines. I think it will be a great addition to our preparedness kit. I had been looking at a site called http://www.ecomenses.com/ for my preparedness pack.
