Interesting video from "Era of wisdom" where an American journalist talks about his perceptions of the people of Lebanon/Syria in comparison to his perceptions/experience back in America.
What struck me is his perception that Americans appear to be sickly, unhealthy, like zombies, in comparison to the Syrians he met, and interestingly he relates this to the food that he ate over in Syria compared to the food he ate in America! fascinating.

I too find myself saying a lot that what is called 'organic food' now, used to just be 'food' to our grandparents. Doesn't mean I don't get a lot of blank looks though when I say that... :lol:
 
Yes and no, as alot of that 'organic' isn't really organic, as that word has been appropriated by corporate America like so many others words in the past... 'gay'.... swastika... etc. The real organic farmers are trying to keep it clean, but alas it will be an endless battle, if not a hopeless one as long as they are not the masters of their domains.

Yes, that is somewhat true, even amongst the 'organic' I still use some discretion. An example is the use of carrageenan in some organic dairy products. I learned the hard way that it doesn't play nice with my guts. For me avoiding GMO's and chemicals is my main concern. We've gone Keto, so if we need sauces or whatever, we just make them ourselves.
