AML Round 2 - Transplant

Hi ROEL, best wishes, and warmest thoughts to you - hope the procedure goes smoothly, and all will be well for you :hug2:

The bone marrow transplant was carried out without incident. Tired and tired. Now comes the stage of NO-infection oriented care, given the induced depression of the immune system to fight my organism's natural rejection of a foreign body (the donor stem cells). It takes time for the acceptance of such as "own".
Long period of another two weeks in the hospital plus two months more of close stay -within 10 minutes- to be cared for immediately in case unexpected events (falls, wounds, fever).

Did I said tired?

Glad to hear everything went well with the procedure, ROEL. Thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery!! :flowers: :hug2:

Bless your heart, ROEL, this is rough and I've been thinking about you frequently through the day. Keep us posted when you are able but get as much rest as possible.

So glad to hear the transplant went well  - warmest wishes and thoughts towards your recovery :hug2:

Will be thinking of you throughout your recovery. Just rest and get better.

I'm happy to hear it's all done without incident.
Now: rest, rest, rest!
:flowers: :hug2:
