Another strong earthquake was felt in Mexico City

It was felt strong again, minutes ago, hope everyone is OK, from USGS site:

M 6.8 - 13km WSW of Tecpan de Galeana, Mexico

DYFI? - IIITsunami Warning Center

We are all fine here and glad to know you are Ok Mabar. It wasn't as strong as the last one, but this one lasted more? I was about to take the subway when I heard the seismic alarm :P.

I do not know for sure how minutes lasted, when I/one is scared time goes by quite relative, I felt it at work this time(down town center) and since the earth sediments are muddy, it felt like being in boat with a middle stronger shake? that lead people to cry out, we were like 500+ people on the street, everyone mute except from the alarm from afar.

Good that you did not enter to the subway, I heard from a friend that he felt it down there and it was horrible, the shaking sensation was more swaying and the lights went out, not good while being in the subway full of people.

Its been said by the USGS that this earthquake was an aftershock from the one in April, we are for a bigger one from that area.

Hey guys, over here everything OK, I was at the office building and immediately felt it as strong, but no damages to the facilities or anything like that. My wife was in the street and had to pull over the car and get out of it.

There had been two "strong enough"? today. Also, there had been around 21 aftershocks less than 5 magnitude, and lucky me/us? did/had not registered/felt it. :P

I had been obvserving sesimological and volcanoes activities have some sincronicity, reported in SOTT (spanish) http://es.sott.net/article/27958-Actividad-del-volcan-Popocatepetl-el-8-de-mayo-de-2014 from Popocatépetl's activity.

Another one, I think I felt this one too, was editing the image from this: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,30758.0.html and, felt some shake but, all day long I had been feeling shakes/tremors of the building from trucks passing by, because, today I stayed working at home, that had me somehow paranoid, so I disregard this one too, until I saw it in USGS minutes back, curiosly I felt this "pull" to check the site before going to sleep.

It tremble again at early morning, I was told by coworkers, it does not appear in USGS site nor in Mexican Seismologic, although, it appear another one in Oaxaca State this morning of 3.8, that does not in the other two sites, found two ones of Guerrero State in RSOE EDIS site.

(My paranoia state of mind was not that wrong!, yesterday, I was with the intention to go to bed all dressed, just in case, did do it, though. But I have already set my backpack for emergencies, need to buy a pocketable radio and batteries)

I can understand how you feel. Today there was a big one in the Eagean sea. 6.9 . After it passed I also checked my earthquake backpack. There was no water so I put some water. I have a small radio and extra batteries and also a telephone card since the cell phones will be jammed.

I am glad you are all okay. May this one be last one.

Yes, It is a little disconcerting state of living? ... a new way of living, since I live alone and those around me do not want to know "hope in God, help them, not occur, etc..." they do not want to prepare neither, and is not that I am prepared, I think I need to prepare myself more into valuing the life and not the material goddies (house).

Is like in Jaw's music, something is getting near. :P

Coincidentally coincides, that an oar fish was found in La Paz, Mexico; a city that is "nearer" to the Alarcon Volcano, http://es.sott.net/article/28486-Pez-serpiente-causa-sorpresa-en-La-Paz-Mexico (spanish), from another site, _http://www.bcsnoticias.mx/encuentran-varado-pez-remo-de-cinco-metros-en-malecon-de-la-paz/ (spanish) the date is 28th of May.
