Great to hear that things are improving 987baz! :)
Just a heads up, best to take the vitamin c an hour or two away from meals that have meat in as it can cause the body to absorb excess iron which is not good.

thanks Redfox, I will adjust my vitamin c intake to be further away from meals :cool2:

I have started putting butter in my tea

Arwenn, I meant to ask, what kind of tea? are you drinking black tea? I was having raw coacoa with coconut cream instead of coffee, I haven't tried it again as I wanted to keep away from it for a while. I figured black tea was out too because of the caffeine, but I would like to try at some stage if the black tea is ok? :)

Hey 987baz, I only just saw your question in this part of your post, so apologies for the waaaay belated reply. I have chamomile tea with butter, and tea with a dollop of coconut cream with butter. Basically if i have a hot beverage of any kind, I add butter to it. Sometimes, I will use cream or milk, which is my bad I know, but I don't seem to react too badly to it.

Thanks Arwenn, no worries on the late reply, I have been doing the same, using butter with tea, I have tried a few different brews. Lately, I have just been having butter, cinnamon, a little nutmeg, vanilla and a little xylitol and sometimes an egg yolk, froth it up with hot water, very tasty :)

I listened to today's talk on micronutrients earlier this afternoon, and am in the middle of the one on histamines right now -- both of them have been very good.

I managed to catch most of the micronutrients talk, which was interesting, also the one on SIBO was useful too. Thanks again for making me aware of it :)

Sounds great, might try that one next. I find myself wanting to drink more hot beverages in winter, so your recipe above be just the thing. Thanks :)
