Any good WIRED Ergonomic mouse?

I am one of those using an ergonomic vertical mouse. My model (Manejo) is from Speedlink; however, it seems to be no longer available (bought it more than six years ago). Don't remember anymore how long it took to get used to it but it wasn't long. Maybe about one week. It felt a bit odd in the beginning, now don't want to miss it!
 
I just tried a vertical mouse after this thread mentioned it, and OMG does it feel much better! I had already adopted that position without knowing it while using this horrible flat mouse 😅
One more problem fixed!
 
I use a vertical expensive OrthoMouse Amazon.com. I've replaced it once after a few years when the laser died. It helps some, but the scroll wheel is thumb buttons, so it adds a bit of RSI on your thumb. Since it's been mentioned, I might try one of the standard vertical ones with the normal scroll wheel.

Have you just tried switching mouse hands? I did it for two years at work. It of course helps and it frustrating at first, but you never acquire the dexterity of your dominant hand.
 
Thank you all for your input. It was Super helpful. I tried to figure out myself using all those AI's and recommendation video's, but couldn't figure out what to pick with some confidence.
This is what helped me the most. In my case, having the elbow at the same level as the wrist and a mousepad with cushion makes it so that my arm from elbow to mouse is roughly a straight line... IOW, no bent wrist. That solved my sore wrist issues. That may require adjusting your chair/desk heights, if possible. Same thing for typing.

- I do have mouse pad with wrist rest but I don't use that much due to limited space (though I can squeeze in) on the under desk keyboard tray. but I didn't realize that it will be that it will be useful in this case. I did leveled chair hand rest to my keyboard tray before. I will try and see how it helps.
- I will get one of suggested vertical mouse and will try out.

I tried for few minutes switching to left side. But that is not that comfortable. Particularly I want some speed in typing etc. at least some help if we can't use one hand.
 
It is not about the mouse. It is about the table. Get a high table or a table with adjustable height or an architect's table, where you can use a high chair (bar stool) or you can stand ... and dance... why not... as well.
 
I use this one: Anker vertical Wired mouse
Switched a few years ago because of wrist pain. Took a few days to get used to but totally fixed the issue. As others said, position, elbow height relative to table, etc is all important as well.
Best part is if it doesn't work for you after a few weeks, send it back and try a different one.

Anyone else who hasn't considered a vertical mouse, they put your wrist and hand in a much more neutral position and IMO really do make a difference if you spend a lot of time using your pc.
 
Hello Seek, as Ina(Edit and Scotie) mentioned please check your desk and chair first. Your arm should rest naturally on the desk starting from fingers to your elbow. Your posture should be straight with feets on the ground. There shouldn't be any unnatural structures under your hand. When you are sure that your posture is good then check that if your hand is resting on the table also when you are using your mouse (any part of your hand shouldn't be in air and it should be rather in straight line from your elbow in any direction (x,y,z). If your wrist is worn out any verical mouse should help, but only if your posture is good :-)

Speaking of posture, I once dealt with tendinitis in my right hand from drawing too much on the computer at work: lots of tension buildup and bad chair-desk setup. Anyhow, I bought a special chair that helped a lot.

I'm switching between standard and vertical mouse (bought the cheapest one on AliExpress). I'm also having the same problem and vertical mouse helped a lot. The only issue I have with it is when I'm typing with both hands and want to get back to my mouse with the hand, I usually bump into it and turn it over because it is much taller than the standard one.

Also, I bought this height-adjustable laptop table at IKEA (they also have height-adjustable standard tables). It's great! when I get bored of sitting, I lift it up in a second and continue to work in a standing position. My legs and back feel much better as I change positions.
 
I use the same mouse, it's good -- also on my third one. They do last many years.

A mouse pad with a wrist cusion also helps a lot. I use one along with a keyboard wrist rest cusion, and a chair with an arm rest a desk level.

I had the same for many years and it was a good one. I think it has a lot to do with your arm and in relation to the angle of your mouse and ankle. My arm is almost always resting on the arm of the chair and with that, it is straight and almost no bending of my ankle and my palm is also resting on the desk.

Maybe give it a go with the “mouse cushion” and see if you can adjust your chair and desk.

And to the mouse: I use a Logitech G502 hero since it is also a bit more ergonomically and has many programmable buttons :-).
