The Living Force
I have been invited by a facebook friend to join a new social network called tsu. I am curious if anyone has heard of it as i am not sure exactly how it works as im not able to watch the youtube videos but apparently it is a way to generate income. They pay you to post. What i am not sure but this friend makes it sound good. I am skeptical but perhaps this may be a good thing for some of the forum members to make some extra money. Here is a video explaining how it works.

davey72 I joined yesterday as a friend explained it to me online. I am sick of FB not sharing what I post to more than half of my 'friends' I can tell as most things I post always get a like, share or comment. Also I don't get all the notifications I should either. So for me I am giving it a try because anything that can compete with FB will get my vote! On the security aspect a friend pointed out that it is based in New York so we ca still expect everything to be spied upon sadly.

I also don't expect to make much, I have done much network marketing in the past so do understand the concept, but also that many wildly exaggerated claims of earnings are also made.

I do like the concept that money can be earned/shared though - we could all do with a bit more - every little helps as they say. FB certainly doesn't share anything.

Another time-saving aspect I like is that you can post from TSU and easily share it on Twitter, FB and Instagram. (Google + would be nice though for our work).

A good way to use it is to copy the link of the page you wish to share. Also copy any comments (as I do) from Sott etc., to TSU then just press the twitter or FB icons and it is automatically shared which can save us time too.

So I am currently using it. I can report back with any snags I have found or visa versa soon.

For anyone wishing to read the FAQ's and check out the actual pages and get a feel for the homepage etc I can only suggest that you have a look at my own site. (it is not my intention to advertise so in order not to do so on the forum perhaps peeps better pm me for the link? - Moderators may be able to suggest something here so I don't upset anyone). Just trying to help with more info for folks.

Interesting. I've been thinking the only time i'm moving social networks is when it functions like a blog/profile which is connected to ALL other networks. I heard about Tsu on twitter but i've yet to look into it so thanks for the overview happyliza! :) I'm not sure i'll do anything just yet, personally; as with many of the recently launched alternatives, let's see the backers and the user experience/privacy, and maybe then i'll move.

I agree FB has become a behemoth of privacy invasion and arbitrary rules that hinder rather than help, but for now it's the most connected and user friendly set up i have at my disposal. I guess it's mainly that so many people use it, and they're the audience i'm after!

Google+ is a pain and commenting/sharing sends me all over, so i'm not so keen. Plus i've got so many profiles now they're integrated with youtube&gmail that it's confusing.

Just noticed that! Ok, so maybe no Tsu for me.
