Apple Cider Vinegar For Eczema

Skin moisturizing probably works best - try a urea based lotion, it usually itches even more for about 15 minutes, then it gets better. Also applying pressure instead of scratching may help and wearing cotton gloves so that you don't damage your skin (especially at night). Otherwise if nothing helps you might have to resort to medication for a short while until things calm down.

The bottom line is - don't scratch, it only perpetuates the itch.

Also does anybody have a suggestion on the scratching? sometimes the skin with eczema just itches like crazy and I lose myself and end up with torn skin and bloody scratches everywhere. I really hate it but sometimes I just start scratching and I can't stop. Please help!

Ice packs, and if that doesn't keep it down, antihistamines. The goal is to give the skin time to heal.
