Are the diet and health related recommended books in the book list still scientifically relevant?

Hello I was wondering if it's worth reading through the diet and health related books to this day in 2024/2025. Are the principles described in those books still scientifically relevant? I ask because the list was made a long time ago, and while I'm sure many book selections are evergreen, was just wondering if the science behind the diet research is updated to fit the present times with new science or new scientific principles as pertaining to latest diet research. Or is some of the information in those books outdated?

Thanks for reading

Yes , " (...)long time ago" ? , of course there's no one size fits all , and there's always room for adjustments and improvements .

Q: (L) Okay, there's something else I'm thinking about. Getting back to this genetic construct marrying with the physical potential... It seems that higher soul potential has been historically associated with physical problems. It's like the soul, being a strong energy, expresses itself through the body, and if the soul is unhappy, or if the soul is ill at ease, or if it's in distress, or for some reason not at peace as it is very easy to be in this day and time when there is so much cruelty and insanity rampant on the Earth, that these people with higher soul potentials tend to have more physical problems and disabilities. Is that going in a proper direction?

A: Yes.

Q: (L) So, individuals with the soul potential whose soul afflicts the body with its issues need to really understand the body, give it optimal fuel, and learn how to deal with the soul issues themselves separately or in a soul-based way.

A: Yes.

Q: (L) I mean it's like the whole Ra thing was about Wanderers. Wanderers according to the traditional definition are people who tend to have... (Psyche) They're more sensitive. (L) They're more sensitive, and they have to be more efficiently nourished and have better fuel and they have to really be careful with detoxification. And those people it seems to me would be susceptible to the belief that being a vegetarian would help them - only it wouldn't!

A: Yes. Carla is an example!

Q: (L) Yeah, Carla of the Ra group. She is just practically crippled with arthritis. I don't know what she eats, but the Paleo diet might do her some good. (Ailen) But then you have psychopaths who are very sick, too. (L) Yeah. I think that sometimes it's just a roll of the genetic dice. But in some cases, there's this connection. (Psyche) And we're exposed to too much toxicity these days. (L) Okay, have we done this subject? (Ark) Yes, I have a question. From a higher point of view - not just ethics and such things - but from the higher philosophical point of view, what's really wrong with cannibalism? (L) What's really wrong with cannibalism? (Perceval) We may or may not publish this answer. [laughter]

Well, I would also like to see what others say, but from looking over the recommended list, I would say that most of that work is still very pertinent and quite good, if not all. So I would say yes.

Yes Alejo that's the list. I'm going to start building some health protocols and was wondering if I should read those books as well.
I would say that it deepens on what the protocols are designed for. Maybe not every book is pertinent and there may be a few others that may not be in the list that may be of help.

So, what are these protocols on? are they on general health?

The Ultramind solution by Mark Hyman should be read with some grain of salt. For me personally it's the book that got me to relate what i feel with what I eat to some degree. It also got me to take neurochemistry with better consideration. Only his suggestion for diet should be considered with some caution as it involves seeds, nuts and grains. Ofcourse the person whose diet is standard American diet then his approach to diet is definitely much better in comparison because he promotes clean natural food. We also know by now that being clean and natural is not necessarily natural for our bodies so for the most optimal way of eating there are better options to explore.

When your body says no is also valid for repetitive diets. I tend to fall into a habit of eating same for months that tastes good & verified by research as "healthy". Recently every day I ate a small amount regularly cooked / pressure cooked - ancient bitter apple - quince. Really spiced up the meals and was very yummy! After eating it for months however I got vein inflammation, so I suspected it being the cause. From years of Diet & Health Research on this forum, I remembered Gabor Mate's book: When your body says no and abandoned quince.

Two weeks later it cleared out of my system and the vein inflammation stopped. Lots of nicely smelling big quince remaining in storage though... :D The beautiful, strong tree I watered diligently in the summer heat, produced lots of quince! Its also super beautiful, looks better than colorful apples - when brushed into a shiny state. :D

The Iodine "wonder":
Also past iodine research here & resulting easy-to-do overdose - even regular small amounts accumulate! - usually causes swelled thyroids pinching your vocal cords resulting in your singing voice disappearing especially, when you wanna sing higher notes. And your normal speaking voice becomes tinny, high pitched, like the voice of an octogenarian. After ditching iodine - Potassium iodide + iodine - I successfully restored my singing voice: "high" notes for a male are possible again - and my naturally normal male low pitched speaking voice returned. People are sensitive to a lot of things that are "Newly discovered" as the new 'Question of The Day' in "Wonderful Health News": Your personal unique genetics determines what you can endure. Research and Experimentation is necessary. So when you consume, here is the ancient maxim:
The Oracle of Delphi:
1. “Know Thyself,”
2. "No Excess!"
3. "Moderation in everything".
