"Art for Change" Images

I would really like to print out the "Psychopaths, one in twenty people are NOT your friends" one I made and make it a bumper sticker on my car, but then I would fear that they would come after me...:(

My understanding is that psychopaths think they are decent people and that there is nothing wrong with them. I don't think one would ever admit they are a psychopath, or at least one who wants to keep their mask of sanity.

For the black one, I would change the word 'controllers' to 'manipulators'. The word 'controllers' has alternate definitions that seem to lessen its impact, at least for me.

Yesterday I was searching for poster creator websites online and I found one that makes the posters with the black borders I have been making! One of my artist friends always says, "work smarter, not harder" and I just whipped up a handful more in less time than I did the others! :D Here is what I've come up with this week:

If anybody has more ideas for images or has any ideas on how these can be improved, I look forward to hearing them. Also, right now I'm thinking of replacing the "M*rijuana, hey at least it's not crack!" poster with "Psychopaths, hey at least they're only 5% of the pop!" I'm also considering replacing the "We Want You for the US Army" poster with "We Want You to Think for Yourself." And maybe the "Got Milk?" slogan with "Got Soul? Not if you're a psychopath!" Also, I might replace the "Enjoy Coke" slogan with, "Enjoy War: Trust your psychopathic leaders today!"

Thank you, Mr. Premise! I have to say it is very comforting to know that the Forum is a place (the only place) where people appreciate these new creations of mine that are intended to educate the public. I initially intended to post them on my Facebook page too, but some of my family members have left comments defending psychopaths when I posted some information about it recently and this has discouraged me for the time being...

However, I knew I would be able to post more images safely on here and so making these images today proved to be a very cathartic experience for me. Maybe I'll make a website of them at some point, but in the mean time I hope the Forum members can find them useful. :D

The last one was inspired by you, Prometeo! :D More ideas are definitely welcome and if people are interested they can make their own "motivational" posters at the link I posted in the last comment too. :)

Very cool stuff! I'm not sure about the "Truth Seekers" one; 'education' seems to have a kind of negative connotation (like 'indoctrination'), although that could just be me. Maybe I've missed the point if that one is aimed at a specific group, since you are a teacher. I would probably say "The battle for 'our minds'/'objectivity' has just begun", but in any case, hasn't that battle been going on a while? Like I said, maybe I've missed the point.

Actually that makes sense to me, HowToBe! I thought about putting "knowledge" instead, but then went with "education" because the Harry Potter movie the photo came from discusses education and I'm also biased since I'm a teacher. ;)

So, I have basically become obsessed with learning about psychopathy and did my best to visually show how GWB could fit some characteristics on the PCL-R checklist:

I think they're great! The only wording that seems awkward is "The feeding force is strong with this one." How about "The hunger is strong with/in this one". Just as an idea of alternative texts for that one, I'll submit "Stimulation: I need you to tell me how much better than you I really am." or maybe just start that with "Tell me..." to give it a more commanding tone.

Hey HowToBe, thanks for taking the time to review them and offer your input! I like the "hunger is strong" better and also the "stimulation" suggestion you made too! I think I'm going to change those ones and thanks again for the great ideas!! :D

Good work on these, Scarlet! They're really great!

I really like the "Caution: People Trusting Psychopathic Leaders" idea, but it might be a bit cumbersome. Maybe change it to "Caution: Lack of Critical Thinking Ahead" or something along those lines? Or "Blind Followers Ahead"? I'd say "Ponerology Ahead" but I don't think anyone would get it :)

Just a few ideas. Keep up the good work!
