I just saw this article on SOTT:
http://www.sott.net/articles/show/229556-Armchair-astronaut-discovers-Mars-space-station-using-Google-earth

here is the video from the discovery: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTJt0LJZG2k&feature=player_embedded
and the interview with the discoverer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMVUikuFdG8&feature=player_embedded#at=306

is this really on google mars ? it really looks like a artificial structure.

has somebody this software and can check that out.
or is there a another place (satellite images online from that area) were we could look for it maybe in higher resolution ?

Edit: here another video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFCh9L-66K0&feature=watch_response
video description:

On May 28 2011, David Martines uploaded a video which appeared to show a structure on Mars using Google Earth(Mars). It was later discovered that there appears to be an entire city nearby. NASA settlement or alien civilisation? Who knows, I'll leave that for you to decide.

Bio Station Alpha: 71 49'19.73"N 29 33'06.53"W
Many other Samples: 71°51'16.94"N 27°40'16.51"W

Apologies for the quality of the video, but I'm sure you'll get the general idea.

For those who are curious Google Mars can be viewed at http://www.google.com/mars/ or downloaded from the same page.

Note: the image appears different and for me, the
coordinates are @ 71 49 20.11N 29 33 07.34W

Make sure you click the "Saturn" image button, select
Mars from the toolbox, then enter the above coordinates
into Google-Mars "Fly To" textbox

The coordinates given from this article was way off for me,
so I was forced to look for patterns and its approximate location,
but nevertheless, I found the structure. It appears to me that the
image from this article was different. This article showing the google
video started upside down (the poles reversed) and then proceeded
to the location. Also interesting is that the image is not quite well
defined when zooming into the structure.

can you post some of your pictures or videos from that object ? (screenshot or something like that ?)

Here's a pic from the coordinates dant posted

Ok, here is what I have:
[Warning: high data size, but you can use an image viewer to zoom in/out]

At a distance:

BTW: Why not download and install Google-Earth
on your computer. And its free...

It's for free really ? where can I download it ?
I saw the system requirements that you need for Google-Earth. I think my computer couldn't handle this :(

there are thousands of potential artificial structures on mars... notwithsatanding Cydonia. marsanomolies.com is a good site...

heres a pretty good case for artificial structures, from ESA's photographing mission..

the qualities not as great as the originals which were 50 mb tif, but ESA has hundreds of photos almost all of which have some artificiality.. including Cydonia

Picture number MSL3466 taken on May 7th by the rover Discovery shows what seems like a entry door carved in stone:

A German website has investigated the picture and an earlier picture from another viewpoint and concludes that there seem to be similar features around which could mean that it is natural. Also, „the entrance“ appears to end shortly after the wall (no tunnel). I tend to agree with the suggestion that it might be natural:

To me both the door and the „path“ on the pictures below are too straight - they both look like they have 90 degrees angles and to straight lines both on the doors sides and on the left side of the path, i.e. pitcure 3 below + picture that Pierre shared.

True; there are straight stones in nature like quartz crystals or pyrite, but stones like this exposed to all natural elements… idk… I can’t remember at this moment…
