Athiests to take care of Christian's pets after Rapture

I was not sure where to put this - in the "Discuss the news" section or this one...

My sweetie came across the website (_http://eternal-earthbound-pets.com/Home_Page.html) a couple of days ago and I had not yet gotten around to posting it, when I saw this article (http://www.sott.net/articles/show/192460-Atheists-offer-to-care-for-Christians-pets-after-the-Rapture) on the SOTT news page today.

Anyways, I just wanted to say that this is a good strategy for athiests - make yourselves useful to the Christians so maybe they won't kill you....

Thanks Fireshadow, that was the biggest laugh I've had in days, and I really needed one. Long live the entreprenurial spirit!

reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw that cracked me up:

"After the Rapture--can I have your car?"

Pets Salvation In A Post Rapture World

I know many true believers are worried about the fate of their pets when the Rapture occurs. I thought the forum pet lovers might want to
inform family and friends that Eternal-Earth Bound-Pets atheists have offered to contract for pet rescue and care after the Rapture. I emailed
my mother this afternoon. She is relieved that Jody will now find a nice atheist couple to live with when she is gone. The FAQ page has all the
details. I hope this doesn't violate the forum advertising rules, but I decided to take a chance with so much at stake.

By the way, does anyone on the forum know what dimension heaven and hell are located in?

You've committed your life to Jesus. You know you're saved. But when the Rapture comes what's to become of your loving pets who are left behind?
Eternal Earth-Bound Pets takes that burden off your mind.

We are a group of dedicated animal lovers, and atheists. Each Eternal Earth-Bound Pet representative is a confirmed atheist, and as such will still be here
on Earth after you've received your reward. Our network of animal activists are committed to step in when you step up to Jesus.

We are currently active in 22 states. Our representatives have been screened to ensure that they are atheists, animal lovers, are moral / ethical with no
criminal background, have the ability and desire to rescue your pet and the means to retrieve them and ensure their care for your pet's natural life.

We currently cover the following states: Maine,New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Arkansas,
Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Our service is plain and simple; our fee structure is reasonable.
For $110.00 we will guarantee that should the Rapture occur within ten (10) years of receipt of payment, one pet per residence will be saved. Each additional
pet at your residence will be saved for an additional $15.00 fee. A small price to pay for your peace of mind and the health and safety of your four legged
and feathered friends.

Unfortunately at this time we are not equipped to accommodate all species and must limit our services to dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and small caged mammals.
[Please note: we can now offer rescue services for horses, camels, llamas and donkeys in NH,VT, ID and MT ]

Thank you for your interest in Eternal Earth-Bound Pets. We hope we can help provide you with peace of mind.

Nah..it must be the full moon, I can't stop laughing!

After reading economic news and researching IVF and autism all afternoon, I needed to lighten up. ;)

Okay, I've moved it to the tickle me section - was about to send a search party for the real go2... ;)

Yes, I am no longer befuddled -- and knowing now the spirit in which you posted it, I agree that it is amusing :)

Although I do feel a little pity for some older people on limited means who are always more susceptible to fraud, I do find this ad amusing.
I suppose it shows how naive I can be, but I am always amazed at how creative people can be when they are trying to con others out of their money!

I think these atheist guys have taken external consideration to a high level. Gurdjieff would have been proud of them.
