Bad karma? Mason Wells survives three terror attacks: Brussel, Paris and Boston

Mason Wells, a 19 year old mormon from Utah, USA survived three terror attacks: in Boston (2013, minor injuries), Paris (2015 was in the city that night) and now in Brussel with some severe injuries but luckily he is getting better and out of danger. It is kind of strange that someone has the bad luck to be in three western cities where terror attacks happened and got too injured at two places. Maybe bad karma or a similar phenomenon like Roy Sullivan the guy who got hit by lightning strikes several times?

I'm not sure about the karma part. I do know these missionaries are assigned their destinations by their church but in 2013 he may have been there for other reasons in Boston as he would only have been 16 or 17; not quite of mission serving age. Sounds more like a patsy victim to me but maybe that's just reaching.

I think this story you have to take it with a grain of salt. I have the impression is a message to tell people that when you are a Mormon you are "protected".

Brings to mind a similar case. The Titanic had 2 sister ships, the Britannic and the Olympic. Violet Constance Jessop was an ocean liner stewardess and nurse who was on board the RMS Olympic in 1911, when it collided with the cruiser HMS Hawke. She then achieved fame by surviving the disastrous sinkings of both the RMS Titanic in 1912 and the HMHS Britannic in 1916.

Well, it's not quite a case of him 'surviving 3 terror attacks'. He was close to the incident in Boston, was in Paris last November and has now survived the Brussels airport bombing.

Still, it's a pretty unlucky record.

The hoaxers, of course, are citing this as evidence that he's a crisis actor being moved around different locations
