Barbara Marciniak - Path of Empowerment

In reading through the recommended books I have noticed that only the "Bringers of the Dawn" are recommended and I found that kind of odd. I was at Barns and Noble the other day picking up another Castaneda book and I came across "Path of Empowerment". On a whim i decided to pick it up and read it. I'm only halfway through this book but it seems to me that its about a 50/50 in the way of half the book so far is like the C's in the fact that the Pleiadians encourage oneself to seek within yet on the other half they somewhat give you all but direct ways of doing certain things. Now I may be looking at this in the wrong context but the thought did cross my mind, "What if she was somewhat corrupted" in some of the information described in the book. All in all I found it to be an encouraging book on reverting back to focusing on one self and opening up with breathing technique's and chakra balancing. I did find in intriguing that they refer to the years 1987-2012 the "nanosecond in time". Also intriguing was the fact they stated that they divided those years into 3 groups pertaining to the amount of cosmic energy that would be increasing with each passing year. The first phase was from 1987 to 1996 with a tenfold increase in energy every year, the second phase was from 1997 to 2006 with a hundred fold increase every year and the final phase will be from 1998 to winter solstice 2012 with a one hundred thousand fold increase every year for the remaining five years; Pages 62-65. Anyone else had a chance to read this book and if so what are your thoughts?

Channeled by Barbara Marciniak in the New Age classic Bringers of the Dawn, the Pleiadians present themselves as a group entity from the far future. The book is addressed as a wake-up call to supposed 'wanderers,' or 'system busters' who have incarnated on Earth at this time to assist with the events of the Wave. The book is engaging but according to the QFS take on the matter, it is a mixed source with genuine higher density information blended with the channel's preconceptions and a heavy dose of 'you create your own reality.' The term 'lizzie' was first introduced in Bringers of the Dawn as a name for the 4th density STS overlords keeping humanity captive. The book agrees in many key points with Cassiopaea and Ra and is a good read if one does not take everything too literally. Marciniak's later work is in the QFS view rather more STS-influenced and ritualistic, thus Bringers of the Dawn remains her best work.

I kinda figured it was mixed with corruption at some point. Some parts of the books seemed "off" to me. The thing that didn't seem quite right was the information concerning imagining the "techniques" for all the energy spirals that was mentioned.

I have read the book. I saw Barbara Marciniak in 2007 and saw her channel the Pleiadians. She gave a lecture and then in the second section the pleiadians gave a lecture and answered questions. I picked up the book at the library because I was interested in what the pleiadians were saying in their fourth book and I had enjoyed Bringers of the Dawn.

My impression of the book was that it was very new agey. It felt very energizing to hear them talk and to read the book but it also seemed like it is a very corrupted source teaching "you create your own reality" and various other things that would lead someone astray.

One of the main things that Marciniak was stressing was to stay completely away from electronics such as computers, cell phones, etc. due to their effect on the nervous system. I think she said that she hadn't been on a computer for a few years or some very long time. I think that it is good to protect yourself and limit the exposure but without a computer it is very hard to stay informed and network with others.

Also she went into the whole mind control thing of celebrities and recommended Fritz Springmeier. :/ She was big on giants saying I think that they would be returning to the surface of the earth soon and as shadowsaround said they were big on 2012 and the "energy acceleration". But there was no mention of psychopaths.

I don't recall much from the book but my recommendation would be to avoid this book and focus on the recommended reading list. There are so many good ones on there that I think would be more important at this time!
