Watch at 0:15-0:16 seconds of this short video a girl coming towards, carrying a model airplane in her hand. Because the salt mine is so tall and has no natural air movement (no wind), a model airplane association carries world and European tournaments for ultra-light airplanes in there (made from dried grass stalks literally and using rubber strings to propel through the air). I participated once in early 90s in that very cave. Because the salt is so corrosive towards metals, the elevator cabin is made from wood and it looked ancient... The mine has several layers...
