Hey,
Does anyone know what labs are best to test with for parasites?
I noticed there was a thread here on rope worm so it seems like maybe some here might have some ideas.
The mantra of a lot of US doctors seems to be that people in the US don't get parasites which doesn't make much sense. Sure we may have a lot of clean water (tho some of it may have fluoride depending where) and we tend to cook a lot of our food but even so I think parasites may be easier to get than people think. Imagine just one bag of salad not washed properly that has eggs in it or even a piece of meat that was slightly undercooked that had something in it, etc....
Anyway I have posted a bit on parasite forums and was wondering if anyone else had thoughts on testing for parasites.
I've heard metametrix is a top lab but they recently emerged with another lab - Genova Diagnostics and reportedly may not do the same pcr stool test they used to do. There have been reports of a lab called Parawellness that is said to be legit - it's one I'm considering trying - and there is also Dr. Amin's Parisitology Center in Arizona which I have heard mixed reviews about - it's interesting that he has a morgellans disease program but they really charge a lot for their supplements and tests. I saw an old post on curezone saying their test found nothing but it also seems like he's studied parasitology extensively so I wouldn't write them off from just one or two reviews. So far its seeming like Parawellness may be the most legit one at the moment.
Anyone have any experience with labs for parasite testing? Also do you think serology blood tests are reliable?
Thanks
